@scottleibrand It looks normal. Should I delete it and let it repopulate?
Line 523, Column 9... if I nano glucose.json is line 513 from the top, I assume?

Ah, good to know! I ended up deleting glucose.json and it seems to not be updating properly -- and, oddly enough, I'm still getting the same parsing error. I think I'm just going to flash it and reinstall everything
Actually, now that I look at it, I am using the Explorer/Edison and not my Pi3 and there's no micro SD card...

Looking through the instructions I guess I used my Pi to flash the Edison originally, but I don't really remember doing that. Would that be the recommended route from here?

Need assistance with uploading pumpprofile.json to NS on heroku. Running into parse error. Any suggestions on a fix?

Hello I have been setting up an openaps rig, I am using a dexcom g6 cgm which I setup with xdrip last week. Today xdrip stopped uploading to nightscout. It has been working great for the last week, I got my pi-hat rig setup and then xdrip stopped sending updates to nightscout. On the system staus page in xdrip it says unable to do REST API Download java.lang.Exception: Unexpected baseURL: https://myAPISECRET@mynightscoutsite/ Unexpected baseURL: https://myAPISECRET@mynightscoutsite/ Unexpected baseURL: https://myAPISECRET@mynightscoutsite/ . Not sure why it has the URL three times. I have tried reentering my URL, and using the QR code. The upload keeps failing and shoing the same error. I have gone over the Troubleshooting REST API Upload Setup to no avail. Do you have any reccomendations on what to do to get it to talk again? Thank you

Has anyone else had a strange experience with (i) Nightscout reporting a "Percent Delivered" higher than 100% and (ii) your pump showing duplicate boluses of which only a portion was delivered?
I just had an instance about 30 minutes ago with a single 2.5U easy bolus being reported as 3 separate 2.5U boluses, the first cancelled at 0.6U, the second cancelled at 0.7U, and the third completed in full, all in the same minute.
I had this same issue occur in February 2018 after an easy bolus, using a different pump (my old 522, I'm on my backup pump, a 722 now), so I don't think this is a pump-specific issue.
Moreover, the reservoir volume appears to only be consistent with a single 2.5U easy bolus being delivered, as does the daily totals from within the pump menu. However, algorithm thinks I received 3.8U rather than 2.5U and is updating accordingly. Of course, that will wear off in a couple of hours and that's not a big deal. But still confused by the phantom cancelled boluses on my pump.

@live4sw

I'm surprised that I've now encountered this issue twice, but searching gitter dosn't seem to turn up anyone else with it.
live4sw
@live4sw
Nov 17 2018 19:06
If also helpful, I think both times this issue occurred, I had previously dialed up an easy bolus but cancelled first (before starting the bolus at all)

@live4sw was there a clock change mixed in there too?

If you can get the pump history that covers those cancelled boluses I'd like to see it
live4sw
@live4sw
Nov 17 2018 19:12
@danamlewis Yes - in fact, very strangely, the pump clock had drifted by several hours in only a few minutes.
Screenshot 2018-11-17 at 2.12.03 PM.png
That time change happened around the same time as those boluses, there's a little gray circle inside the bolus circle in nightscout
@ecc1 Which logs are you looking for?
Eric
@ecc1
Nov 17 2018 19:15
If you're running dev, output of the pumphistory command over the last few hours. If you're running master, never mind ...
Probably the time issue @danamlewis thought of

Hello, yes @live4sw I have had exactly this problem as you have described a few months ago. I posted about it on the facebook group. I will see if I can find the link.
I think you can see it if you click here: https://www.facebook.com/groups/TheLoopedGroup/search/?query=bolus%20mark%20orders Someone spotted a timechange during the bolus delivery. It logged it in my pump as having been delivered too which was concerning for me but it definitely wasn't.

A 3u delivery marked down as 10.65u on the pump, and on nightscout so used by the openaps algorithm I presume.

2018/11/17 17:29:53 MEDTRONIC_PUMP_ID environment variable is not set
Eric
@ecc1
Nov 17 2018 23:33
You'll have to set MEDTRONIC_PUMP_ID in your environment first. But -82 is somewhat marginal signal strength. What kind of antenna is on your rig?
loztblaz
@loztblaz
Nov 17 2018 23:34
my rig is a pi+hat build, i'm using the included whip antenna that came from the enhancedradiodevices site
Eric
@ecc1
Nov 17 2018 23:35
Hmm. Double-check that the u.FL connector is firmly seated, and try extending the whip away from the rig itself. Does it make any difference in the mmtune results (when running mmtune from the command line)?
loztblaz
@loztblaz
Nov 17 2018 23:38
I'm not clear on setting the pump id, in pump.ini i've got the serial, but i don't see anything about a pump id in printenv and a search of the docs doesn't seem to reveal much
Eric
@ecc1
Nov 17 2018 23:39
you don't need it except when you're running commands yourself from the command line
just do export MEDTRONIC_PUMP_ID=xxxxxx first, then run the command in that same shell
loztblaz
@loztblaz
Nov 17 2018 23:42

got it, thanks. now running that seems to succeed:

root@KennethOpenAPS:~/myopenaps# mdt -f internal button esc
2018/11/17 17:41:46 connected to CC111x radio on /dev/spidev0.0
2018/11/17 17:41:46 setting frequency to 916.600
2018/11/17 17:41:46 model 723 pump
2018/11/17 17:41:46 pressing EscButton
2018/11/17 17:41:46 disconnecting CC111x radio on /dev/spidev0.0

and the pump does have the status screen up

and extending the antenna away from the rig returns a slightly different mmtune result
mmtune: "916.550", 3, -32
Eric
@ecc1
Nov 17 2018 23:45
It may be marginal signal strength when your loop is running, or the timeouts on the button-press code might need to be tweaked (I don't use it much myself, so I haven't seen this). If you can play with your antenna orientation and mmtune, try to get your RSSI into the -75 range or better and see if that makes a difference.
whoa, that is not a "slightly" better result! it's orders of magnitude better

loztblaz
@loztblaz
Nov 17 2018 23:46
it's sort of a best case scenario however. case open, antenna extended and pump within a few inches
but i can see now that it's something i need to work on. i was assuming that it was some safety feature kicking in, since i'm giving SuperMacroBoluses here
Eric
@ecc1
Nov 17 2018 23:48
I use a similar whip, and it took me a while to find a good orientation in the case w.r.t. the battery and circuit boards that still gave good results
loztblaz
@loztblaz
Nov 17 2018 23:49
i assume there isn't a drop in replacement that's superior? otherwise i'm probably going to try something slightly weird like making my printed case have an external antenna holder
