Hello, not sure this is the right place to post. I have 6 boxes of medtronic quickset. They are outdated with dates from dec17 and aug18. I do not use them, I prefer metal ones. I would give it for free if someone is interested. If you know a better place to post this offer, let me know.

Duration of Insulin Activity, DIA, in oref 0.6.2 ... Is this value determined by the curve setting alone or can it be customised in preferences to be greater than the value set by the curve preference? Reading the docs, I get the impression that the DIA setting in the pump is ignored. Bottom line: how do I set the DIA for FIASP to be greater than 5 hours (300 minutes)? Thanks in advance

@JohnDoeAkira if you don’t get a taker here, the Facebook Looped group, or a broader group like CGM in the Cloud Off-Topic, would almost certainly have someone who uses those.
Alan: only pump DIA less than 5h is ignored. If you set it higher than that it’ll be used as insulinEndTime.

hi all

I am running oref0-setup.sh, and at then end, when it runs my settings, and says continue I see:

Checking /root/src/oref0/bin/myopenaps: /root/src/oref0/bin/myopenaps already exists /root/src/oref0/ already exists; pulling latest fatal: unable to access 'https://github.com/openaps/oref0.git/': gnutls_handshake() failed: Close notify Couldn't pull latest oref0

Any ideas why?

@cluckj it didn't make a difference (I didn't expect it to).

It's the git fetch which is failing the https connection

Im wondering if its to do with ssl and the version of git I have installed? Does anybody know how to set it back from https to ssh connection to git?

Dana Lewis

Jan 05 23:00
@jcorbett80 is it uploading anything to the NS graph from the pump? or nothing at all is being uploaded? If so, can you look at your ns-loop log?
@straykatz hm, interesting, does this problem occur if you power off your other rigs and just let one rig run? (it shouldn't matter, but fewer people use enlites, so not sure what would be causing it to do a slow read of the cgm, unless the enlite isn't actually recording every 5 minutes? I'm assuming your cgm is correctly reporting numbers every 5 min?)

it worked just fine until an hour ago when I returned from going outside and getting back into home wifi land. there I tried to set up rig #3 which is on a board that the previous owner said it might be problematic
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Jan 05 23:02
@renegadeandy IOB pill may report careportal IOB and other calculated IOB that's not what OpenAPS is using, so ignore any other types of IOB from the IOB pill. (you'll also want to ignore the 'active insulin' on your pump, as that's bolus only, and will never take into account the +/- temps your pump is setting)
@straykatz hm. hopefully it's just transient then. what was the problem about the board that the previous owner reported?
straykatz
@straykatz
Jan 05 23:03
that #3 is working its way through getting started (I think), it's been giving me crap when trying to run autotune on it (Running oref0-autotune --dir=/root/myopenaps --ns-host=https://xxxx.herokuapp.com --start-date=2018-12-25 --end-date=2019-01-04 --categorize-uam-as-basal=false

it probably hasn't done a full run yet - i'd let it sit for 20 min, make sure it's looping, then go to town with autotune etc

@straykatz that error message means the software on the Edison isn't getting the response it expects from the firmware running on the CC1110 radio. Has it been flashed with the correct CC1110 firmware?
