What directories and/or files are created in the openaps rig
By a successful xDripAPS install?
I need to verify xDripAPS was installed and functions properl. I do not see much info in the docs related.

I believe there's a hidden .xdripAPS directory or similar. do ls -lart ~/myopenaps and you might see it. if not, check the docs/scripts to see where it goes

Was able to get some Fiasp and just started mixing 50/50 with Humalog. Any issues if I wanted to premix in one 10ml vial a 50/50 mix of Hum/Fiasp?

dunno if anyone does that. if you try it, I'd visually inspect it for any precipitation that might occur over time due to any differences in the solutions

Thats what I was curious about. I'll play it safe an just carry both. Can't risk loosing any ....

@mkericson I usually carry both vials and mix in the reservoir; sometimes I’ll premix a reservoir or two rather than mix in the bottles directly

Great thank you @danamlewis / @scottleibrand
In the docs does the open network
"network={
key_mgmt=NONE
priority=-999
}
working successfully for most?

most open networks have captive portals, so your rig will get stuck offline behind them
works better to specify the SSID of individual truly open networks

Hey @danimaniac I set it up and it was a bit of a bothersome beast. Any issues let. Me know

I am stuck. Perfectly working rig (working for months) just stopped working. I have rebuild from both dev and master, restarted, can't figure it out.

If pump and rig are close enough, this error usually self-resolves. Stand by for the next loop.
Unsuccessful oref0-pump-loop at Thu Jan 17 21:43:07 PST 2019

Searching through errors, I can't figure it out

Pump is right next to rig AND it hasn 't been able to self recover. Has been running for about 10 minutes since rebuild, but been trying for last 2 hours to get it working.

Any thoughts?

You didn’t manage to successfully install the Go pump comms tools.
I would re-run the dev install.

OK
PS - I was having same issue when I switched to Master branch and tried to run setup again
@scottleibrand what is this?
Would you like to [D]ownload released precompiled Go pump communication library or install an [U]nofficial (possibly untested) version.[D]/U
I did D last round, and it didn't seem to work

Getting this when installing:

/home/.rootfs/usr/bin/wifi -> /home/.rootfs/usr/lib/node_modules/oref0/bin/oref0-tail-wifi.sh

Hi my first time on Gitter. . I'm at the point in the docs where I'm testing if the BT would connect automatically after pairing my phone and rig successfully....
I've run "iwconfig wlan0 txpower off; sleep 120; iwconfig wlan0 txpower auto"
and got this error :

  • Error for wireless request "Set Tx Power" (8B26) :
    SET failed on device wlan0 ; Input/output error

Please can someone help me rectify this? Thanks

@sjolundjohn the latest version of jq is installed by an earlier install script. if you have a really old rig you'll need to re-run that, or update jq manually by running the command from the openaps-install / bootstrap script
you almost certainly want to [D]ownload the pre-compiled Go binaries, but pay attention to make sure they install properly

@scottleibrand thanks - that was the last move I did last night but needed to pull the plug and get to sleep.

It seemed that the rig was running better, but it was failing preflight about 80% of the time and I could not get a successful run in the 20 minutes I was watching it before bed.

I will play around with it again over the weekend (this rig is at home) and report back.

Thanks for the helo
