@danamlewis next time you're having one please give me a heads up. I don't live there, but have family there and would love to combine an OpenAPS meetup with a family visit.

3-4 weeks would do it most of the time, just enough to get the good flight prices :)

Am I right that (i) to change DIA i just do it in my pump's bolus wizard's settings (not in preferences.json) and (ii) that if I am automatically running autotune daily, it will pull the updated DIA setting from my pump the following night?
I see in the docs that it defaults to 5 hours but I've noticed some lows within 4-5 hours of a meal where I am still falling despite negative IOB, so I'm thinking of trying 6. I had left my pump DIA set to 4 hours which I assume was overriden, but I did notice that my autotune's profile.json file had DIA set to 4 hours, and I wonder if that was skewing the calculations as well.
If openaps defaults to the greater of (i) what is set in bolus wizard setup and (ii) 5 hours, then I would think autotune should import the greater of those two as well, rather than taking a <5 number from the pump's bolus wizard settings. But maybe I am reading things incorrectly.

It should 5 or the pump if it’s higher for looping calcs

Does autotune then pull it automatically into the profile during its nightly run? If so, I was just wondering if it was a possible bug that it pulls the pump figure directly rather than the greater of the pump figure and 5.

I’d have to check the code, but it probably applies the minimum at a later stage.

I'm trying to track down what's causing an error on my new home rig. I've got very high resistance so it is correctly reporting that my carb ratio is 1u : 2.9g, but I've edited the "carb_ratio < 3" to be "carb_ratio < 2" in oref0/bin/oref0-meal.js and oref0/lib/profile/carbs.js but I'm still getting these errors:
Preflight OK. Profile less than 60m old; Profile valid. Pump history updated through 2019-02-02T16:08:16-06:00 with 3 new records; meal.json Error: carb_ratio 2.9 out of bounds
