@Stargazer32584 the port depends on how you wired it up -- the chart in the docs is for /dev/spidev0.0

@cluckj , @scottleibrand So, I tried the "blind logging in" thing, and something weird happened: When the rig first boots up, there are all the Raspian messages showing on the monitor. Then, when the openAPS cron starts (judging by the appearance of the graph on the rig screen), the monitor goes blank and its power light switches from green to orange for "standby". Then I (blindly) entered "root", my password, then "tvservice -p". The monitor light turned green again -- as in, it thinks it has a signal coming to it, so that clearly did something (?) -- but nothing actually shows up. Does that make any sense to you guys? How could I have changed anything with the tvservice command without that resulting in getting actual display output?

@Jon Cluck the wiring is the same as at the doc. So should i take the /dev/spidev0.0 ? Thanks a lot... Best regards André

@Stargazer32584 the Radiofruit bonnet uses spidev0.1

@acember did you try unplugging and replugging the HDMI cable after enabling the service?

@scottleibrand Yeah, but no luck. I think trying to SSH online is my only option. This just makes me nervous, because I have never actually done it before.
Is HDMI the only display option for the rig directly?

@acember yeah, the ssh part is not as difficult as it sounds though

You can also use a serial console over USB, if it's set up that way
