@Ebgineer sorry. Mistake. Just when taking out the hat. With the hat on its not recognized.

@igoneporto_twitter If I understand correctly, you're saying the pi will boot by itself but not if the hat is installed. That could be a problem with either the hat or the pi header pins. Since the pi is so inexpensive you are probably best to build a new rig.

I have bought everything new. Have to start again. I think i have found an Intel. If they confirm tomorrow that its on stock, i will request the explorer board too.

@cluckj Since friday, my sister uses the rig and your x12-fix. Runs very good. But one little problem is there. After 3 - 4 hours, sometimes, the rig has no contact to the internet. She was on the same place like before. The router shows us, that the rig hasn't an active connection. I haven't any idea...

could you check in /var/log/openaps/network.log to see if there are any errors around the times that disconnection happens?

But we are not sure, if it a problem with the change of the accu. They are new and must be activated in the first time.

Ah..okay.. i will check it tomorrow. Thank you !

You also need a cable to connect it to the pi hat: https://www.mouser.co.il/ProductDetail/485-851
A few notes: 1) I have tried this antenna, there are other antennas there, that might work better. 2) physically connecting it to the pi is not easy, probably needs some more work, or maybe another antenna that can be connected.

2), you mean without the cable?
tzachi-dar
@tzachi-dar
Mar 24 22:34
The cable connects if for the electric signal to pass, but it can not hold it in place, Maybe there is an antenna with a screw or something similar so it can be connected physically.

Mar 24 22:35
You can use a U.FL-to-SMA adapter cable if you want to experiment with bigger antennas like "rubber duckies". Most people want just a short 1/4-wavelength wire for portability though
zasteph
@zasteph
Mar 24 22:35
I have the wire-one, how much (distance?) I could gain with the larger one?
should it cover a radius of 30'?
tzachi-dar
@tzachi-dar
Mar 24 22:45
@zasteph I guess it will cover, but the problem is not the distance, it is the number of walls. I think I can say that when not attached to a person, it passes 10 meters with wall in the middle, (but not two walls). I still need to make more experiments to understand if once attached to a person it will still work.
zasteph
@zasteph
Mar 24 22:48
Thank you. You mean the pump "attached to a person"? And you are talking about brick walls, or North American walls?
tzachi-dar
@tzachi-dar
Mar 24 22:59
@zasteph yes, pump attached to the person. The walls, are bricks and concrete walls, not the north american.

ISF question: autotune calculates ISF of 375 mg/dl/U, the pump is set up 360 and it more/less correlates to the observed behavior. The NS pill shows openaps is using value from autosense of 195. Logs from the last cycle is below.

The result in the last 6h was insulin delivery kinda like a roller-coaster, where temp basals were zeroed for 15-30min and short bursts of insulin delivered + SMB.
So the question is what was making impact on the noticed behavior of insulin delivery? Is it ISF, and what value is used in calculation the one from autosense or autotune or some other e.g. the pump?

@Ricco555 double check your current autotune? Log says adjusting 235 to 195, so 235 should be what’s in your autotune? Can you provide an autotune screenshot?
To answer the broader question - your autosens ratio there is 1.2 so that’s adjusting your factors (isf and basal rates) proportionately

@Ricco555 hm, odd. Also, can you check your pump bolus wizard setup and tell me if you have multiple ISF set for different times of day?
Riko L
@Ricco555
Mar 24 23:31
Yes.. it is set up like this:
from 00 to 07h is 20 mmol/L/U
from 07-21h is 15 mmol/L/U
and from 21-00 is 17
we considered increasing this to 25, 17, 20 from next week.
Riko L
@Ricco555

@danamlewis the only big change that we had is to change DIA on the pump to 5h last week (it was 3h previously). But that should be ok, as now we have openaps running 24h/7

So basically, cannot figure out how come the autosense reduced ISF to 10 mmol/L/U which may had influence on the noticed behavior.
