@cluckj do I need some kind of hw on the pi or can this part be verified on any pi? If no hw needed I can probably try this tomorrow.

@tzachi-dar the "default" RFM69 wiring (consistent with Adafruit RFM69 bonnet) is described here if you want to copy it: https://github.com/ecc1/rfm69/blob/master/README.md

This is what is used when you compile the medtronic code with just -tags rfm69 (versus -tags "rfm69 walrus" for the older configuration)

@marafie on the file ./src/oref0/node_modules/.bin/oref0-cron-post-reboot There is a line that says: " /usr/bin/tvservice -o &" delete it, or comment it out.
This is done in to save some power.

@marafie in that case you need to take the memory card and edit it directly. Do you have access to a linux machine (or another rpii?)

hi, my son experience long zero temp basal(abt 2hr) after meal bolus and experience high BG due to long zero temp basal. I follow the OpenAPS guide to adjust the CR to higher number and i still get shorter zero temp basal, but BG never come down and getting extremely high at 18.4mmol!

I got autotune running overnight and basal was adjusted accordingly. Only CR was adjusted to higher number.
My son premeal BG was high. Meal bolus +correction bolus seem make zero temp basal longer.

Any suggestion to tune the setting ?

Hey all, I had a perfectly working loop and then I messed it up 😩 I was messing around with my rig and ran cd ~/src/oref0 && git checkout master && git pull && sudo npm install -g oref0: /usr/bin/oref0-mmtune: line 34: /usr/local/bin/Go-mmtune: cannot execute binary file: Exec format error
monitor/mmtune.json is empty or does not exist
Usage: grep [OPTION]... PATTERN [FILE]...
Try 'grep --help' for more information.
Sorry, I ran the command to install a new version (master) and everything stopped. I managed to get my loop going again, but it's not working. I'm getting :
Continuing oref0-pump-loop at Tue 16 Apr 07:49:09 EDT 2019

@zekeat09 can you post some screenshots from Ns showing one of these situations, and a screenshot of your logs or the OpenAPS pill? That will give us a better idea of what to suggest you tweak. Posting your autotune would help as well

Hi; I would like to change my network configuration and clone my SD card to have a copy in reserve should something go wrong.

I am working on a Windows 10 PC and have Win32DiskImager.exe. The Win Explorer shows a partition "boot" (D) and a second, unformatted drive (F). I suppose my program can not clone a Linux SD card. What can I do? Is there a guide in the read-the-docs, I have not found anything yet?

greetings

Jon Cluck

Apr 16 17:10
I think win32diskimager clones the entire card, not just the boot partition

The 'unformatted' drive in Windows is the linux file system.
That's the one you need to back up.

Apr 16 22:14

@cluckj
Going back to March...
I had not changed anything in preferences.json because, for the majority of past updates, a git-pull was all that was required.

The issue I was having, is that if you updated from early January to March-and-later, either with just a git-pull, or with an oref0-setup-runagain followed by copying your customized pre-update preferences.json back over the newly generated one then the pump serial (and anything else formerly stored in .ini files but now in prefs) was not added...

So everything works OK now...

P.S. What is the 'latest' hardware? Still PiZero with Explorer-HAT? Or is there another generation now?
(my main rig is still Edison/Explorer, and I never got around to re-doing the Pi rig with the hat (a/o the SliceOfRadio))

I was using the Slice last year (have a few of them), but the need to stack 2 different hats (one for LIPO power/charging, one for radio) pre ExpHAT sent me back to Edison when I found a good deal for a working one on Ebay....

In the preferences.json "bt_offline": "false" isnt that wrong format shouldnt it be "bt_offline": false cause its a bool?
And should it be falseat all?

Hello again! So I am now experiencing a total loss of connectivity to any WiFi or my hotspot. I had everything set up this morning, running perfectly. I had configured my home WiFi as well as my hotspot. When I left the house today and switched to hotspot, the Pi would not connect. When I came home it would not connect to my home network or anything else.
My hat screen shows no open networks available. I use an app to see what's connected to my home WiFi but the Pi shows disconnected...
I can't access it through SSH or by plugging it in to the PC directly.
I am sorry to keep being a bother 😔

@danamlewis i did change the DIA in my pump. However the openaps docs under title “Frequent negative IOB at the same time everyday”, it stated in oref0.6.0 beyond, regardless of what is in your pump, it will default to using a DIA of 5. It is also very common for OpenAPS users to have DIA of 6 or 7 set (preferences.json).
What is the correct way?
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Apr 16 23:58
It uses 5 at minimum in case your pump has 3 or 4
But if you set it to 6 it will use that
