Hello community! I am new here, and am attempting to set up my RasberryPi Hat to link with my DexCom G5 and Medtronic pump that is loopable. I have downloaded (twice) PiBakery to write the SD card to get the rig to work, to no avail. I tried doing it the "Option B" way, and got the SD card Formatter to work (I think).I then attempted PiBakery again (it looked simpler than downloading Raspbian lite (I tried to download this through NOOBS but could not figure it out).
Card seemed to write this time, however there is no "green light" to be found on the rig, and so I feel like something went wrong with the card write and don't know how to fix it, where I went wrong, or how to "start again".
Appreciate the help!

The green light is right next to the micro USB connections
Is it not lighting up at all? Mine lights up if I plug in the raspberry
You can see it on the opposite side from where you put in the memory card

Hi. I am mounting a new Rig, with edison, backup and to try to connect the G6 transmitter directly.
I installed jubilinux 0.3 now ...
Do I have to follow the instructions in the documents and set up from step 1-8 Wifi for Edison?

https://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Resources/Edison-Flashing/mac-flash.html

that is, I need to do the previous steps of wifi configuration and also step 1-10. Installing packages, SSH keys, and other settings?
Alfredo kachy
@kachytronico
May 03 08:08
another question,
Which branch do I install the master or the dev?
Are the documents updated?
Master: https://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Build%20Your%20Rig/edison-install.html
Dev:
https://github.com/openaps/docs/blob/7128440b989e3602a3d64fe05831adc9c104d11a/docs/docs/Build%20Your%20Rig/edison-install.md
Anything escapes me?
When I upgraded to jubilinux 0.3 in the old rig it has given me problems with Bluetooth tethering, now I want to do it right from the start.

I have not been able to install the master branch with the information of the documents and I am installing the dev branch
another error when executing the dev branch:

E: dpkg was interrupted, you must manually run 'dpkg --configure -a' to correct the problem.

I have executed it manually and now?

I went back to restart the installation with the script

Heather - the red light is next to the power switch, right? if I call this the right side of the hat, the green light is supposed to be on the left side, between the two boards. If that's not lighting up, I wouldn't have any ideas. Maybe a defective raspberry?
Here's a good photo, but without the hat. Is this what yours looks like?

@kachytronico there are master docs (use those, don’t use dev docs) and then there’s the code, where you can use master or dev. I think you may be confusing the two. Use master docs (via readthedocs) for any instructions on installing dev code. Does that help clarify things?

Ok now I have a green light, and am unsure of what to do next. I can't seem to get a connection with PuTTY. Is this a card problem? WIFI? I am now at work and won't have the same network.

@jonny772
May 03 18:33
@hthrhinz_twitter You'll need to be on the same network to access the Pi via SSH. You can either use the bakery to update the wifi, or follow these instructions https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/remote-access/ssh/
or plug a screen and keyboard directly into the Pi and change the wpa_supplicant file manually

@jonny772 first I want to make sure we don't blow anything up: run fdisk /dev/mmcblk0 and enter "p", it should output something like this:

/dev/mmcblk0p1 2048 6143 4096 2M Microsoft basic data

hello again, I installed today the master branch in an Edison with jubilinux 0.3.
When I finished configuring BT Th and I was checking the connection with this command :
iwconfig wlan0 txpower off; sleep 120; iwconfig wlan0 txpower auto
the platform has been blocked connected to the BT and does not reconnect with the wifi.
the platform has been blocked connected to the BT and does not reconnect with the wifi.
I have restarted and tested several things that I have been reading but I can not solve it now I am like this.
iwconfig wlan0 txpower off; sleep 120; iwconfig wlan0 txpower auto
Error for wireless request "Set Tx Power" (8B26) :
