@CJay9209 you may want to look into using Logger with OpenAPS, there is a gitter channel here xdrip-js

@kachytronico - my apple watch is series 2 so it doesn't support running the URL from a message. This weekend I'll try to prototype an ios shortcut to read the URL and then do a notification that shows on the iPhone and watch that shows IOB, COB, BG, tick.

Sounds really good. If you need me to try something, please, tell me.
I have tried to run the rig's hotspot but although I see the wifi that it creates as soon as I try to connect it it falls and I have to restart.

I have tried several things and I have stayed here.
I changed the key in this file
/etc/hostapd/hostapd.conf.
but now I do not see rig by wifi
systemctl stop wpa_supplicant
systemctl start hostapd

I think I will not get much more with my knowledge and I do not want to waste your time. It seemed interesting to be able to access the rig now that you can work offline.

I have still the same IP problem.
why does my rig trying to get this Ip address 10.29.29.1 and under /etc/network/interfaces file
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback
iface eth0 inet dhcp
allow-hotplug wlan0
iface wlan0 inet manual
wpa-roam /etc/wpa_supplicant/wpa_supplicant.conf
iface default inet static
#address 10.29.29.1
netmask 255.255.255.0
this Ip address, any idea?

10.29.29.1 is the IP I chose for when it's running an offline hotspot
but it is commented out, which probably means it wasn't actually using it at that time
This message was deleted
you can tell what it's doing at the time with ifconfig
and iwconfig to see the wireless status
and cross-check those against the wifi logs

I don't know but somehow priority of wifi connection has changed. If I run dhclient wlan0 then I get a proper Ip address. I need to run after boot completed that command or remove BT tethering complitly

Hello! This is where I am, https://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/docs/Build%20Your%20Rig/pi-install.html#Option-B What all should be plugged into the rig? I am not seeing it on my computer and am just trying to get putty to work (Need to find the ip address for the rig)
