@guimkwon
@Foxy7 Thank you so much for the suggestion! I will try it.
garetis
@garetis
@Foxy7 Yeah, those are the docs I'm using. Brand new pi zero and piHAT. Wireless and ssh works fine. No issues on the initial curl command except for the NPM messages. After I go through the interactive setup it throws an error when it tries to import /root/src/oref0/lib/oref0-setup/device.json. I think I did stumble on those videos at one point, look like they'd be a good resource
I have an edison which I was using before. Now when I plug in the cords to try to serial into it it's not working. I ordered the other stuff as a backup and figured it'd be easy enough to get those up and running than trying to troubleshoot on the edison
Guim Kwon
@guimkwon
@Foxy7 Yes, I am using the instructions in the link.
@garetis I am exactly in the same boat as you are. I tried to revive my Edison/explorer rig. No luck there.

When I was installing oref0-setup.sh, I encountered this problem, anyone have a good idea
截屏2021-06-10 12.43.02.png
Eric
@ecc1
@denglfddd_twitter this means you don't have a good internet connection to download the required Go packages
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
@denglfddd_twitter run rm -rf ~/usr/local/go/* and rerun oref0 setup. I have more solutions if this doesn't work.
this will remove the go folder contents and you'll be able to redownload all the files necessary.
@garetis do you have an older PC you can use? My windows 10 surface cannot flash my rig. I bought an old laptop XP era that works perfectly.
@garetis I have been working on instructions for the last known good version of jubilinux -- 0.4.0. Please be sure to use this version. 0.4.1 is buggy for me.
garetis
@garetis
@jaybaron1 I'm using an XPS 13 (model 9380 -- i.e., 2019). I think the flashing is working but I can see about my older laptops. My wife has an older Apple I could try. For the Jubilinux (https://www.jubilinux.org/dist/) I want the jubilinux-v9+0.4.zip version? That could be the problem because I don't recall having to installing the OS as the instructions for that regarding the pi were "skip" to step 2, is that correct?

garetis
@garetis
I'm not sure the last time you guys had one of these, but I don't have a problem spending some money and hiring a tinkerer to help me with this stuff. I'm pretty anxious to get this going again. If that were the case and I wanted to find someone locally, what kind of expertise should I be inquiring about? Though, it looks like we might be on the right case with regard to the Jubilinux version
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
@garetis for Pi I believe the instructions are pretty explicit -- for example adding the WiFi file to the SD card, after you run the setup instructions from the rig, you'd be pretty set. From what I recall with Pi, most everything is done through terminal.
@garetis also, when you are at the point of installing oref0 pull dev branch.
garetis
@garetis
@jaybaron1 Yeah, I got through all that pretty smoothly. I was having some issues connecting the wifi but bought some new SD cards and it was fine after that. But for the old and new cards, both installs failed when it went to import /root/src/oref0/lib/oref0-setup/device.json. That is part of the initial install of the master branch and it never gets to a complete install with the cron notices. I'm not sure which version of jubilinux is on the pi, but I think maybe if I get that 0.4.0 version flashed it might fix this. I'm going to give that a go now
garetis
@garetis
@jaybaron1 So I'm using the raspberry pi zero not an edison. The docs say to use "Raspian Lite" but now the official OS seems to be "Raspberry Pi OS Lite" (https://www.raspberrypi.org/software/operating-systems/). That's what I used. Are those the same things, and if not where can I find a copy of Raspian Lite?
garetis
@garetis
I have the old image of raspian jesse that I used to use from a couple years ago, the date from it might be 5-2016?. I tried installing that but it didn't work.
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
I believe its the Raspberry Pi OS Lite. Thats what I used. No need to use old software.
So scratch the jubilinux. When you go through your installation, it should just pull the dev branch automatically.
@garetis I'll PM you some thoughts.
Foxy7
@Foxy7

@jaybaron1 @ecc1 Thanks for the help, I now come to the last step oref0-setup and get the following error. What should i do?
截屏2021-06-12 20.18.07.png

@jaybaron1
Honestly, its probably better to reflash at this point.

Here's where I would change a step:
https://openaps.readthedocs.io/en/latest/_images/pi-curl-success.png << this picture at the end says Press Enter to run oref0-setup with the current release (master branch) of oref0, or press ctrl-C to cancel.

I would press ctrl-C, pull the developer branch of oref0.

cd ~/src/oref0 && git checkout dev && git pull
npm run global-install
cd && ~/src/oref0/bin/oref0-setup.sh

Make sure youre using jubilinux 0.4.0
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
But i would need more of your log to determine what to do for next steps if you wanted to troubleshoot more first
Try this:
rm -rf ~/go/bin/*
Rerun the install
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
Try before you run that command
pip install parsedatetime==2.5
garetis
@garetis
I'm assuming the answer is no otherwise it would've been done instead of rewind_resets_autosens, but is there no way to read fixed primes from the pump?
Eric
@ecc1
@garetis both fixed and manual primes are recorded in the pump history and retrieved. Whether the upper layers of openaps include them in IOB calculations etc. I don't know
garetis
@garetis
Do the fixed primes automatically reset autosense? I don't remember reading that specifically
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
I believe this is actually a setting in your preferences.json file.
Foxy7
@Foxy7
@garetis it's only the rewind event that resets autosense. Any prime events are ignored by autosense and the iob calculation. We've used primes in the past to load insulin after a canula has stopped working.
Dana Lewis
@danamlewis
Fixed primes don’t count in IOB and don’t reset autosens
@jaybaron1_gitlab you’re thinking of pump rewind resetting autosens as the setting in preferences
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
@danamlewis yes I am.
Hi, hope you and Scott are doing well! Please say hello for me.

Struggling a bit with Autotune. It keeps dialing up my basal for afternoon, dinner, and midnight segments. Even though I am having frequent lows at this time. If I skip eating I drop quite quickly. Yet Autotune doesn't respond the next day, pulling back recommendations... I would have thought it would have picked this up in the absence of carbs.
Skipping meals aside... Easy explanation is not entering enough carbs... but I eat a very strict diet and carb entry largely does not change. Something that has always worked for me.
As an experiment I adjusted higher to the recommended values. Then after the next couple of Autotune runs it was recommending even higher.
I have been struggling with stubborn highs on occasion, so I'm sure that's somehow related.

Right now, 6 pm, low - 1U basal. No carb for hours.
