To address, I patched /root/src/oref0/bin/oref0-get-ns-entries.js to include process.env.NODE_TLS_REJECT_UNAUTHORIZED = 0; at the top, which effectively "works around" this issue, although not in the best way. I'm investigating how to import the CA into nodejs so it can be properly validated.
@parenthetic not sure of your setup but, it sounds suspiciously similar...

Does anyone know what part number and location to buy for the Micro USB surface mount on the Edison Explorer board? I have two that the OTG have broken off and would like to repair them. I've also have two boards that get extremely hot whenever they are plugged in, Does anyone know what is the likely cause of that?, and is it anything that is fixable. I'm not too shabby at soldering, So if possible would like to try to repair them.

I'm encountering some button issues. Looks like there is some fatigue near the edge of the plastic coating extending from the inner circle thingy. Has anyone encountered this before? I'm not sure how to include a pic, but here's a google shared album that I created when calling around to electronic repair places (https://photos.app.goo.gl/sCszrHQbdaBfYXRH7). I have a soldering iron, but I feel like me doing this with my equipment would be like... well, I really wanted to come up with a good analogy for it and I couldn't, but the results would like a bull in a china shop. Any thoughts on the kind of repair shop to consider?

@garetis
Or is it's just corrosion? I took a q-tip and 91% isopropyl to it but didn't really help

Slightly related, I'm changing over to a backup pump until I can get that issue resolved. Is the best way to update the pump for the rig to edit the runagain serial number and then run the runagain script?
garetis
@garetis
as opposed to just updating the serial number in the preferences

What (up to date) document should I start from to create and link all the needed accounts for a totally new Edison based rig (I have the hw ready, just need to create and link all new accounts for github, mongoDB, pushover, etc.). Thank you.

@sbernacki Hope you got this issue figured out. I had the same issue, but 'apt upgrade' fixed it for me.

@zasteph This looks like your internet connection on the rig is unreliable and failed to download those github repos. Make sure your rig has a good connection, then try again.

Rerunning setup I'm having a few issues.
Handlebar package complained note is not new enough. I manually updated with npm.
Setup runs OK, but after rebooting loop fails and preferences.json is blank.
monitor/mmtune.json is empty or does not exist Usage: grep [OPTION]... PATTERN [FILE]...
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
@old-square-eyes do you have another active rig? I've had success sshing into it and copying files from one rig to another.

@jaybaron1 that's a good hail mary

Having a more serious issue
Nightscout is failing me and it seems it's causing Autotune to fail, which in turn stops manual basal adjustments from being read in by Openaps. I'm going low in the evenings and the adjustment I made a week ago hasn't been in play
Loops seem to work
But how can I get my profile updated from my pump, if Autotune doesn't complete, even manually?
This is on two rigs, so it must be Nightscout.
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
Interesting. Are you seeing the results of autotune if you run the command on the rig? Also have you tried comparing it to autotune web?
old-square-eyes
@old-square-eyes
@jaybaron1 per my follow up comment on the issue, a manual run fails.
Leaving an empty file
I did notice pumpprofile.json has the correct basal profile

@old-square-eyes
@all there is a fix to Autotune in Dev. Please consider updating if you use Autotune.
It ended up being a separate issue to the NS payload size error above. Both of which are fixed for me now.

@danamlewis ok Dana... it's finally uploaded -- PC-Flash-Jason.md
@Foxy7 - great job on the original instructions... mine is a bit more comprehensive... definitely could use some tweaking/formatting.
Yours is set for Jubilinux 0.3, mine is for 0.4
I'm not confident after Robin's testing in 0.4.1
Foxy7
@Foxy7
Nice work @jaybaron1_gitlab, but to confirm I definitely didn't make the original instructions, just added the notes to help with lost password/re-flashing a failed install for the Edison which @Dave9111 shared early last year. I'll have a read through your changes but I don't know anything about Jubilinux versions so can't help there.
jaybaron1
@jaybaron1
Awesome, glad you checked it out. IMO... A lot of fixes stemmed from 0.4.0. Ive ran into too many issues with stability in 0.4.1. I'd say the safest bet is 0.4.0.

@jaybaron1 is it possible for you to change the file name in your branch of the docs to remove the "-jason" since it's causing the difference checker to not work. usually we can see what's changed, but as it's a new file name it's effectively showing that everything has changed. e.g. from a Pull Request of mine, the bits in green are added to the updated file showing lines 340+ are new.
and anything deleted would show as red. else its very difficult to compare the two as currently they looks like separate files.

Hi, I was trying to do loop testing of the pump in OpenAps, but happened to get this error. Any suggestions for the solution would be highly appreciated.
