think I saw yesterday that @hackingtype1 was working with them, not sure of the details
with the changes for Dreamsicle, we can do landscape on the phone pretty good, but we'd need to move some of the controls to the side or find a way to hide them

@hackingtype1 probably good not to say anything about alarms, but the volume slider may clue them in

I agree that we want to limit the amount of chrome, but not at the expense of ease of use. once nice solution is to check the volume level and let the user know it may be too low, etc

not just that, but I could see them thinking of alarms as a safety issue, not just viewing data, etc

or more likely, saying "no, you're supposed to do that as push notifications"
I suspect Apple cares more about you doing things "their way"
