@jwedding , I would love to pull into a larger account. Its just been me hacking away. It would be great to have more experienced eyes on it so I can focus on front end.
@jasoncalabrese, yes. Its a remote viewer written in swift and UIkit components that uses the REST endpoints for data... mimics a lot of the website. I've started experimenting with local notifications using background fetch, which is much easier to do with native calls.

I think the main challenge with iOS is that the os will kill the app, so having it running in the background for alarms won't be reliable, we really need to use push, but that's hard to do with our self managed deploys
so far the most reliable option I've found is pushover

true, but from my experments iOS will wake the app pretty frequently if you request for background fetching.
the more you use the app the more it gets woken up... not the best solution but a nice one to start with

pushover with custom urls that open the app might work

@jasoncalabrese are there any plans to update the d3 chart that Android is using? I like the one on the website but its family interconnected with client.js and other tings
right! we can even do auto configuring with the app too... I've got a couple research projects going.
via url...

I've been working on refactoring the web monitor code, server side is mostly done, and now chiping away at the client.js monster

i had to recreate some of the java script code in swift... it would be nice if some of the endpoints provided that data. I think I have an open issue on github for it

right now were 521 commits ahead of master
with master having 1,156 commits, we're adding 1/3 and not done
will be almost a full rewrite, but without using all the new options it will be hard to see that anything changed

I've been following.
I'll probably have to adjust my data model once you guys are done.

I don't think we're going to change the api output, so far the model changes have only been for in-memory use, maybe we'll need an /api/v2/

related to nightscout/cgm-remote-monitor#344 ?

I'd like a /summary endpoint
that makes the results of the plugins available, then you could get iob, bwp, ar2 forecast, etc, etc
easy to use like /pebble but not a mess with tons of legacy to be compatible with

right now I'm using status, pebble (I call it watch) and entry enpoints
i get the server config from status.
i see a lot of similar between pebble and entry but some minor differences.

getting the config from status is nice, will reduce client config a lot

Tell me what we need, I think we could take add push to OUR
App. We can run the service on the azure side and make it an option for all.
