    have nightscout configured on iOS - do I need access to this site?
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    Prepping to get a new version of nightscouter into the AppStore. Check out: https://github.com/someoneAnyone/Nightscouter/releases/tag/1.1.1-rc1
    Eric Mark Martin
    @ericmarkmartin
    @someoneAnyone, do you think we can add a Github integration to watch the repo?
    tommyQinoz
    @tommyQinoz
    I have a newbie question, I just downloaded the app but I can't get past the question about nightscout URL the next button is greyed out. What am I doing wrong?
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    @ericmarkmartin What is github integration?
    @tommyQinoz the URL needs to be valid and reachable for he button to get enabled.
    tommyQinoz
    @tommyQinoz
    I think it is reachable but does it have to be anything on the database
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    @tommyQinoz it shouldn't. Is it a special URL?
    tommyQinoz
    @tommyQinoz
    @someoneAnyone it is an azure website but perhaps I have made a mistake setting it up but I can reach it from a webbrowser
    Eric Mark Martin
    @ericmarkmartin
    @someoneAnyone you can add a web hook in gitter so updates to a repo are posted in the chat room
    @tommyQinoz make sure u include http or https
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    @ericmarkmartin if we are able to I'm fine with it. Can you point me to some instructions is it something you can PR?
    Eric Mark Martin
    @ericmarkmartin
    Only the admin of the chat can do it. it's in the settings
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    i think i set it up
    @tommyQinoz , if no scheme is provided the app defaults to https instead of http but it will only prepend if http isn't provided.
    @tommyQinoz the app is tested against most general URLs and specifically Azure and Heroku site (which are common for NS users)
    if you are still having problems you can PM the URL and I'll try to debug.

    Your site is reporting HTTP Code 500.
    Value Description Reference
    500 Internal Server Error RFC7231, Section 6.6.1
    I don’t think Nightscouter is deployed correctly.
    tommyQinoz
    @tommyQinoz
    Ok thanks I'll reinstall it then
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    sorry i’ve been MIA last few days.
    Eric Mark Martin
    @ericmarkmartin
    Me too, I got the pr up for you someoneAnyone/Nightscouter2#14
    this one makes a lot of the structs equatable and has a difference engine

    @mrinnetmaki
    @someoneAnyone I'm getting a constant 'No sites available' message on my watch, although the Nightscouter app on the phone shows the data all ok. Any idea what's wrong?
    Just started a new sensor after a week's break, it used to work.
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    @mrinnetmaki , not exactly it should have transferred over any sites from the phone to the watch. hAve you tried removing the app from both places and installing again? I'm looking for devs to help me rewrite the app and make it more stable.
    Mikael Rinnetmäki
    @mrinnetmaki
    Thanks for the reply! Tried uninstalling from and reinstalling to the watch only, that didn't help. I'll try uninstalling from the phone too.
    Sandra Keßler
    @SandraK82
    @someoneAnyone i would like to help. Currently my time is somewhat limited through libre and combo projects. In the long run I will need it anyway
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    @SandraK82 Awesome! I have two repos at the moement… one is the currently shipping product at https://github.com/someoneAnyone/Nightscouter and the other is a rewrite of the app at: https://github.com/someoneAnyone/Nightscouter2

    Does anyone know, do I need to pay $99 for a deverloper account to build iOS apps?
    Scott Leibrand
    @scottleibrand
    I don't believe that is necessary any longer to build and install them locally.
    Toby Canning
    @TC2013
    I'm using xCode and it is not letting me compile/build an app because of the signature...
    I will see if a setting allows the code to go unsigned
    Scott Leibrand
    @scottleibrand
    I haven't tried it myself yet, so not sure about the details like that.
    Toby Canning
    @TC2013
    Yes, under "Build Settings" there is an option "Don't sign code"
    Pete
    @someoneAnyone
    You should be able to build, test and simulate with Xcode 7.x. No need to have a paid account.
    Some of the features of my app or others might not work without a paid account though. Mainly iCloud access, push notifications things like that.
