I want to run some background jobs for time-consuming tasks, now I have 2 questions, and I'm aware that node js has a Thread Pool and it uses the next available thread to handle the JS functions and return a callback. 1) The background tasks, for parallelism, should use caolan/async library, does that come on the price of other threads? does it make sense to do such thing 2) How would I know how many background jobs should be run? assuming that they use async as well. I am a bit confused.

Hi, I recently googled a few node related functions and stumbled upon the nodeschool in Berlin. Which is super cool as im in berlin for a short while, and would really love to attend. We also have a nodeJs community back home in Windhoek Namibia(Very young) and it would be great to learn a thing or two. I would REALLY love to attend, to take a thing or two back. Im on that Nodejs vibe at the moment, as im using it for basically everything. Please do advice.
Hi @Onyothi! Great, the next one is actually February 23rd (nodeschool/berlin#37). I hope you you will be still around until then.
