@Buffer0x7cd I may be able to help. What's your issue?

@NJM8
Hello, I was hoping someone could help me understand learnyounode's exercise HTTP Uppercaserer
I have solved it but I was hoping to get a solution without using through2-map
Using that module abstracts away some difficulties but I want to see behind the curtain to understand what is going on.

I'm also hoping to find an answer on this error: (node:16808) TimeoutOverflowWarning: 4294967296000 does not fit into a 32-bit signed integer.
Timer duration was truncated to 2147483647.
I've been getting it on some of the HTTP server challenges
including with the provided solutions

are JWT token and oAuth2 same? as they both use token for authentication, instead of credentials?

this is my 1st time. tried installing javascripting and i got "npm ERR! code ECONNREFUSED"
Anshul
@AnshulMalik
@linkin-park I didn't get it, which tutorial ?
@spartoipatrol, this error arises when the internet is not working, did you try again ?
@tommy the text in grey color seems like a command to run
like touch hi.bash is a command and you need to run it in the terminal
It'll create a file named hi.bash

@kiranshashiny
@artoodeeto This is a warning, it can be ignored. The installation is successful, with a message that the minimatch is older version.
@artoodeeto If you want to get rid of message - try npm install minimatch@3.0.2
$npm install minimatch@3.0.2
npm WARN downloads@1.0.0 No repository field.

+ minimatch@3.0.2
added 1 package and updated 1 package in 4.215s

@artoodeeto
@kiranshashiny hello sir im still having an error. but if the tutorial is ready then its good. thank you still.
heres the problem though.
npm WARN saveError ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/Users/raphaelgako/package.json'
npm WARN enoent ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/Users/raphaelgako/package.json'

@artoodeeto - Just do this - to fix the problem. All you need is a package.json file.
Run a npm init in the home folder once and accept the defaults. It will create a default package.json file.

$npm init
package name: (bevywise) testnpmpackage << Enter a dummy name here.

Accept default, ( just keep hitting enter :) )
When it asks for "Is this OK". Type in 'yes'.

This will create a dummy package.json file in the home folder.
Rerun your install again.
Should be it.

Shashi Kiran
@kiranshashiny
You have another WARNing, stating that webpack2 or webpack3 is not installed.
npm install webpack@latest
Good Luck.

@artoodeeto
@kiranshashiny thank you sir. i tried what you said but theres still a warning. haha. nevemind. as long as its working.thanks :)
