guys, if I want to hide my node app from the public so that only certified users (aka 1 user actually) can enter the site, should I do it with passportjs or nginx, or what would you suggest?

@sandagolcea I've used passport, but it can be a bit fiddly to setup. There are other options that are more intuitive. To some degree it depends on your framework - express, hapi, sails etc

I already have password setup, but just for a specific route, whilst I'm trying to make the whole app like a black box, aka if you don't have the admin rights you can't enter at all. Using express @jkbits1
*passport

If you have express you can definitely do that with passport. If you've set up passport already, then in theory it shouldn't be so hard to extend the access protection
