In an Angular 8 project I am using a wrapper for the Swiper that in all browsers is working perfectly, but not in IE11. As we need the compatibility with this browser, the error reposted in IE console is that there is an error in the built file from Angular (syntax error), when inspecting the error (clicking on this error file), the IE debugger is pointing to the imported Dom7 library also from you guys, is there any Polyfill that we should use for that?

Is anyone from the Swiper developers that is looking at this?
Useless?

You should be able to transpile it with babel if you use the esm bundles or use the cjs bundles: https://unpkg.com/browse/swiper@5.0.4/js/

Hi! I stumbled into a problem when integrating swiper into a vanilla es6 project with webpack. I'd like to use only the Swiper core and Navigation module from the ESM, as described in the API docs. however webpack always imports the full bundle and clocks in at ~243kB.
I import it with
import { Swiper, Navigation } from 'swiper/js/swiper.esm.js'; Swiper.use([Navigation]);
Did I miss a step to enable treeshaking?
Daniel Schulz
@iamschulz_gitlab
also, the build script detailed in the api docs appear to be missing as of version 5. I'm refering to: https://swiperjs.com/api/#custom-build
So I can't get either method for tree shaking working.

@nolimits4web thanks much for publishing as patch :)

Did you set sideEffects: false? https://webpack.js.org/guides/tree-shaking/

I'm having trouble with the carousel bouncing back when swiping past a certain point. This is for a long carousel of about 70 items. Any thoughts on what might cause it, or how to diagnose?

Hey all -- I'm using Swiper and all works well, except the arrows/pagination don't work in IE11. thoughts?

Any reproducible testcase as codepen would be helpful @dana-davis. Any errors in the browser console?

Hi all. I figured out the issue. I was importing as an ES Module, and needed to point directly to the path of the JS in the node package. Not sure why it only caused an issue in IE.

hi all.. am trying to use the swiperjs in a strict mode page, but am getting this:
toshkoevo
@toshkoevo
hello
using Swiper for VueJS
for some odd reason on first load of a page containing swiper, it appears to not be loaded correctly
i can drag/scroll past the slides
no bounciness no limit no nothing
if i then navigate to a second page with the same component it works fine and respects everything
here is my code
this runs on Ionic (Vue3)
also navigation arrows do not work as well
i know its not something specific to the first page
because if i first open a different page
then navigate to page1
it works fine
navigate to page2, works fine again
if i'm on page1 and i refresh the browser manually its broken
this is my exact problem, only in VueJS
adding a v-if and then a setTimeout in mounted() with ~200ms fixes it
but its hacky and i'd like to know what the root cause is

I'm using swiper in angular but it is not functional I imported SwiperModule to my module and Installed the modules as: SwiperCore.use([EffectCoverflow, Navigation]); but navigation buttons does not work and effect coverflow is not looking like it should.
Any help?
Or experience using Swiper for Angular without any external library, just swiper.js

Good morning all!
I wish to introduce Swiper in a project I am following using React v17.0.2 + Next.js v11.1.0 + Webpack v5.43.0 and, copying the basic docs example, I get the same error reported on nolimits4web/swiper#5056 .
The solution I linked in my comment solved the error but the slider just doesn't work: I can't swipe between slides, autoplay does nothing and sometimes the next/prev arrows appears, but clicking on them does nothing.
I tried to import both .css and .scss Swiper styles, both on my main app.tsx and in the page using Swiper.
What am I doing wrong? Should I change some Webpack settings?
