    I did check Travelodge, etc. and it was about £100 per room, per night. I thought that was a bit pricey.

    What's wrong with Sky?
    Well... in ScotlandJS's case: Sky Betting & Gaming. I don't believe they're a Sky company any more.
    I went to one of their (Sky B&G) tech meetups in Sheffield and they said they had been sold to an Italian company a few years ago (I think).

    Sky controls most of the worlds media, always boycotted anything Murdoch related even prior to the phone hack bullshit
    And yeah adding in gambling to the mix makes it actually really bad
    Betting on the internet should be banned like they do in America I think
    I worked at a payment company who made a whole heap of revenue from online games (not even gambling) and it felt like stealing money from kids
    I cited the reason in my resignation

    Ah, well gambling doesn't sit well with my personal values so I can understand where you're coming from there. For me it's a bit more "shades of grey" though.

    Yeah I saw the money being made from the likes of Farm ville and similar. Just feels like we have CoC's to protect attendees and speakers but we slap Evil Corp on the poster and don't notice the harm it's doing.
    I think it's my hard line to be fair. I'm sad like that haha
