    It's curious. pub build --verbose shows verbose logs which you can see what's actually going on and stop. If you are still stuck in it, can you share your environment and the log?

    Hi @ntaoo - I just tried out this package
    Looks pretty cool and it's great to see, that it still gets developed
    I'm still looking for a standardized layouting, so I thought I could give this thing a shot
    How is one supposed to use the sidenav?
    I tried this in my app component template:
    <md-sidenav-layout>
        <md-sidenav #start (open)="mybutton.focus()">
            Start Sidenav.
            <br>
            <button md-button #mybutton (click)="start.close()">Close</button>
        </md-sidenav>

        <h1>My First Angular 2 App</h1>
        <button md-button (click)="start.open()">Open</button>
    </md-sidenav-layout>
    (From your docs)
    But it looks like this:
    blob
    Is there a preferred way of doing things or do I just have to style it on my own?
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    Thank your for your question! Looks like you can apply some prebuilt theming such as <link href="/packages/material2_dart/src/core/theming/prebuilt/indigo_pink.scss.css" rel="stylesheet"> in your index.html.

    Ah, I looked at that repo, but must have overseen this - thanks!!
    Will try this at home

    @ntaoo
    Ping me if your encounter some problems… It may still have some issues on both the original and my porting project.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    Hey @ntaoo, are you there? :smile:
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    I try setting the color for the md-toolbar
    like so:
            <md-toolbar color="primary">
                <span>Title</span>
            </md-toolbar>
    It ends up not getting set

    @rinukkusu
    I created a pull request with the fixes: ntaoo/material2_dart#46
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    Ah, you are right! I will merge it and release soon.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    Awesome!! :smile_cat:

    @ntaoo can I try and sync with alpha.11 on top of your alpha.10 branch?
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    Wow, it will be really appriciated.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    I will try my best!!
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    During your try, I would tackle the new components which hasn’t ported yet.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    What are you using for your sass transformations? The ruby gem?
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    I’m using my https://github.com/ntaoo/sass_builder, but it has some bugs on exception handling. I will evaluate https://github.com/daniel-v/dart_sass_builder.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    Yea, I saw - could successfully build the sass files :smile:
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    FYI, for Sass executable, I usually use sassc. I have not tried dart-sass. :smile:
    This does not yet work in the Dart version of Angular 2 right?
    animations with @
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    Yes. AngularDart doesn’t support animations that TS version support.
    We should find another way. Plain (s)css is the quick way, I think.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    Alright, will think about it! :sparkles:
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    Also, I have postponed touch gesture support with Hammer.js which the TS version depends.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    Ah, with (touchstart) and the like right?
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    I don’t remember ’touchestart’ is the issue, but hammer.js enables some complex gesture, and maybe patches some browser dependent bugs.
    Max Riegler
    @rinukkusu
    Ah okay!
    ntaoo
    @ntaoo
    material2 depends on hammerjs on some components. AngularTS itself includes the adapter. I don’t know AngularDart also supports (the code itself compiled from the TS ver exists, though).
