weird, maybe it was just a timing thing?
Well still not sure, but it's a start. :D
I was accessing it through settings
Now that you pointed me to that, it's showing my account with "Billing" set to No Plan. And it still shows "Install GitHub App". Is that what I should expect to see?
image.png
If I follow that Start Plan, it's taking me over to Open Collective to donate again instead of picking up an existing item.
Rob Reynolds
@ferventcoder
looks like we might have gotten it ironed out

@ferventcoder welcome to the world of Octobox! :smile:

😂

@andrew
return just does newlines rather than sending the message :/
Rob Reynolds
@ferventcoder
switch out of compose mode, then it might send a message?
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
seems to work 50% of the time
maybe it's the iOS13 beta I'm on
Martin Klepsch
@martinklepsch
Hey! I've subscribed to Octobox via GitHubs marketplace to also get notifications from private projects but it seems that that kind of stopped working some time in May. What do I do? :)
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@martinklepsch sorry for the delay, just looking into this now for you
@martinklepsch it all looks fine on the billing side of things, can you send an email with more details about the private notifications your missing? support@octobox.io
Jimmi Dyson
@jimmidyson
hey! is there an option for autorefresh on octobox.io?
Molly Evans
@mollydev
Hi, I sent an email yesterday. I've paid the $10 subscription to Octobox, then had my organization allow OAuth access to the app. (There is a green check). But for some reason, it is still telling me that I need to upgrade to see the notifications. In Github it shows my subscription but in Octobox it says that I don't have a plan :(
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@jimmidyson autorefresh is disabled on octobox.io but you can enable it if you run your own instance of octobox
@mollydev which email did you contact, I didn't see anything in my inbox, will take a look at your account now
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@mollydev that should be fixed for you now, sorry about the delay
Jimmi Dyson
@jimmidyson
i pay my personal subscription via opencollective but very often i keep getting told on octobox.io Private notification on ..., upgrade to unlock.This normally resolves itself after a little while, only to happen again some time later. is this expected? it's quite frustrating and i'm coming to rely on octobox (it's really awesome work!)
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@jimmidyson could you open an issue on Github for that and I'll try to take a look at the weekend
Jimmi Dyson
@jimmidyson
sure thing. thanks!
Jimmi Dyson
@jimmidyson
@andrew did you manage to take a look at my issue? octobox/octobox#2025 still happening today

How do I run the test suite with the docker-compose command?

@kinbiko
Is there a way to filter out bots? I tried the bot=false query param, but that appears to behave the same as bot=true
Ringo De Smet
@ringods
The state of some of my issues on Octobox is lagging the actual state on GH. For example, see this part of my Octobox list:
Screenshot 2019-12-02 at 16.01.32.png
The two selected issue in the image are actually closed already:
terra-farm/terraform-provider-xenserver#1
terra-farm/go-xen-api-client#10
I checked and the Third-party access is still Approved for Octobox on the terra-farm GH organization
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@ringods we've been having some database performance issues that are delaying lots of background syncing jobs at the moment, hoping to have it fixed within a day or two
Ringo De Smet
@ringods
@andrew the two issues I mentioned were closed since 30 Oct. Is Octobox lagging that long?
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
quite possibly, octobox has been running on very little resources for a while now
Franck Nijhof
@frenck

Just dropping a line here. As of this morning, Octobox stopped working for me.
octobox/octobox#2219

I have not seen anybody else report it, so it could be just my account maybe?

Binyamin Aron Green
@b3u
@frenck Is it still a problem?
asking because the issue is still open
William Thorsen
@williamthorsen
I'm confused about how to get notifications about an organization's private repos. I'm subscribed to the paid plain on my personal account. The organization has the Octobox app installed (using the free plan). Is there anything else I need to do to get notifications about activity on the organization's private repos? Thanks for any help.
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@williamthorsen that should be fixed for you now
William Thorsen
@williamthorsen
Thank you for looking into it, @andrew. But I still can't see the org listed in my dashboard, and nothing shows up when I run a query using owner:. Can you suggest any other troubleshooting?
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@williamthorsen can you check that there is a green checkmark against each org listed on this page: https://github.com/settings/connections/applications/3ab10eeb090c850faa7f
William Thorsen
@williamthorsen
@andrew Yes, both are green. But only one of the orgs shows in my Octobox dashboard.
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@williamthorsen can you email details of the org that's not working to support@octobox.io
William Thorsen
@williamthorsen
@andrew Will do. Thanks much for the assistance. :tophat:
Binyamin Aron Green
@b3u
Octobox isn't noticing issues I create on my new repositories. Is that a problem for other people?
Andrew Nesbitt
@andrew
@b3u unfortunately issues that you create yourself do not generate notifications in the github api, so Octobox cant pick them up
