    If one declares -Dtest=12345 ... and then looks for cfg.requireString .. then we get

    knobs.KeyError: No such key: test

    but that is misleading .. it should be something like ... knobs.KeyError: Keytest` exists but isn't a String' .. because that is what happens .. cfg.env shows the key and the value

    its something on the bintray side that they have not been able to resolve

    Can I have a default value for a key in the configuration file that is overridable by an environment variable? Something like foo = "default" foo = $(ENV_FOO)

    just provide a second file that defines the env var decleration, and fold that resource in
