    @timperrett
    @cquiroz oh! you might have just found an issue there :) lemme see
    we dont hit that because we have everything cached in our nexus
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    Right. I observe it on travis
    I have it locally too
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    yeah we need to re-publish the ermine dep i think
    that would make most logical sense
    so everything works from central
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    that would be nice
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @cquiroz you should be able to work around it by using the bintray repositoriy for now
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    This doesn’t seem to help
    resolvers in ThisBuild += "Oncue Bintray Repo" at "http://dl.bintray.com/oncue/releases"
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    weird
    you dont want in ThisBuild though
    @cquiroz im going to migrate the ermine parser to our group id as well, so gimme an hour or so
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    thanks a lot!
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    Strangely this url is forbidden
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @cquiroz we were geting that with bintray… its one of the reasons we moved to central
    its something on the bintray side that they have not been able to resolve
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    ok, good to know :D
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @cquiroz ok i just published ermine for 2.10 and 2.11 to central. Going to put a PR in for knobs now :)
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    thanks a lot
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett

    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    👍
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @cquiroz good timing as i had a few cycles today to fix :D
    not to mention we should have fixed this ages ago
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    Travis is happy now 😄
    Thanks
    Andreas Svanberg
    @asvanberg
    Can I have a default value for a key in the configuration file that is overridable by an environment variable? Something like foo = "default" foo = $(ENV_FOO)
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @asvanberg sure you can
    just provide a second file that defines the env var decleration, and fold that resource in

    @ppurang
    any plans on a scala 2.12 release? and updating to sclalaz 7.2?
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @ppurang there’s a PR for it
    Piyush Purang
    @ppurang
    Thanks @timperrett for pointing me to that PR. Commented on it. Hope to have 2.12 and scalaz 7.2 covered soon. Thanks.
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    Hi. I’m having soume troubles using import with string substitution
    I want to have an import like
        import "$(user.home)/test.cfg”
    But When running it seems it doesn’t do substitution
    I get this
    edu_gemini_seqexec_web_server[ERROR] java.io.FileNotFoundException: $(user.home)/test.cfg not found on classpath
    edu_gemini_seqexec_web_server[ERROR]     at knobs.Resource$$anon$3$$anonfun$load$4.apply(Resource.scala:250)
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @cquiroz that's not a valid environment variable. You want $(HOME)/test.cfg
    you're trhing to use system property syntax it looks like
    Carlos Quiroz
    @cquiroz
    i keep getting an eviction warning with knobs out of the parser
    [warn] +- io.verizon.ermine:parser_2.12:0.5.8 (depends on 1.0.0-RC2)
    Any chance this will be updated to cats 1.1.0
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    @cquiroz im not sure if anyone is planning on upgrading it, but im sure they’d accept a PR
    Dominic Bou-Samra
    @dbousamra
    Timothy Perrett
    @timperrett
    thanks for the contribution @dbousamra - as it happens, I think @adelbertc or @rossbaker was going to be looking at this soon!
