Is Vienna still recommended for use? I might mention it as an additional resource on some stuff I'm writing- wanted to make sure it's still advisable to use it.

I still use Vienna in all my apps. I extend from it heavily, especially with the models. It forms the basis of everything I do though
Really need to release some real app code using it

sure thing! Let me know if you need any help etc. one of its strengths is that, like backbone, it's really flexible. Can hook it up with pure jquery views, or haml driven content
