@vais (back from seeing star wars :D) wanted to ask if you had any objection to merge the "break" branch, and maybe the runtime cleanup too (@meh: same question applies)
meh.
@meh
Dec 21 2015 01:55
@elia let me re-review both

:+1:
@meh the "break" branch still misses full support for what eregon pointed out (break jumperror when called in yield and friends)
meh.
@meh
Dec 21 2015 01:57
still better than what we have now
Elia Schito
@elia
Dec 21 2015 01:57
but that could be part of a different PR
yeah
meh.
@meh

the only thing I don't like is Opal.new_brk
maybe we could have an Opal.jumper that works both for return and break?
Elia Schito
@elia
Dec 21 2015 01:59
could do, but currently return uses a single object instead of specific instances
but I like both the name and the idea
meh.

other than that, rest looks good
on the cleanup now

initially I tried to have Class#allocate + #initialize, but I don't think it's possible without using .__proto__ =
meh.
@meh
Dec 21 2015 02:06
cleanup looks good too

Dec 21 2015 02:07
Good, feel free to merge, further work on any of them will happen in new PRs
meh.
@meh
Dec 21 2015 02:07
alright
elia, did you test they both work together? they shouldn't clash but who knows
Elia Schito
@elia
Dec 21 2015 02:08
Yes, I merged them manually in a branch and I think I ran the specs…
meh.
@meh
Dec 21 2015 02:09
well, we're gonna find out now :^)

:D where's the fun otherwise
the worst I expect anyway is some complaint from jshint
this should improve significantly with the merge btw http://opalrb.org/docs/api/v0.9.0/corelib/__JS__/Opal.html
bedtime cya

@elia Yikes, has it been that long (Oct 28, but still...)? I guess at one point I was waiting on Opal 0.9, and then got pretty sidetracked. Biz dev on my consultancy has taken up a lot of my time lately. Anyway, I'm happy to send out one this week. @catmando Yes, all that stuff is hugely interesting. Anyone else got a cool link to share?

@elia For opal/opal-activesupport#9, broken build seems like a ruby/bundler/bundler#3558 issue on travis. I noticed opal-activesupport doesn't have travis.yml. Any idea what's causing travis to fail, suite passes locally.
