@catmando i agree with @elia; would be good to post some article or something letting people know such a thing is possible with opal, re: stackoverflow snippets

yeah I am all for it, and will be happy to, I just don't have a blog of my own, so am just wondering where would be the most appropriate to get the most traffic...

@jaredcwhite hadn't gotten a chance to thank you for putting opal-phaser in opalist last issue! so thanks for that :D. i think that's the 2nd time we've been featured there, so that's definitely flattering. i've been meaning to market opal-phaser, opal-pixi, and three.rb more (all gems to use canvas / webgl libraries in ruby), but i've been horribly busy with schoolwork lately (since i'm only 15 and high school has been a burden among other things :P). i will hopefully make a post on the phaser forum sometime very soon and spark discussion about it, while showing off http://opalphaser.com and our other examples. i think that could definitely help market both opal and opal-phaser.

I voted that SO post up, some jack-ass down-voted it so it's back to just being at 0.

@catmando @ylluminarious Medium's a pretty good platform for general blogging, and it's free :)
@ylluminarious Sure, I'm not a huge gamer and not a game programmer by any means, but as an open web advocate I'm excited about HTML5/WebGL/Canvas gaming and the opal-phaser and opal-pixi projects seem way cool.
@catmando Yep I got it, would love to feature that on Opalist website and newsletter. Is v4 in actual public use yet? The link here I'm looking at seemed newer than what's available just clicking from the main Catprint site.

@jaredcwhite v4 is a new UI, its live on the the same backend as www.catprint.com, so you can place orders, etc. My customer service team is using it for a few weeks before we switch it over. Yes v4 has a better look if that is what you mean by "newer"

@ylluminarious @elia @catmando would be a good addition for the SO tag
let me know what you'd like for me to write up there and i'll edit it
frankly a section in the readme for opal itself might be a good place with an anchor and then we can reference it

@catmando he means that the ability to include ruby snippets would be a good addition for the opalrb tag.

okay... I am going to put together a js file just for the purpose that does a few other tricks, and make a repo for it. Once done you can grab the details from the readme okay? Right now you have to include the repo, and a jquery file, so I want to just do a version that bundles latest jq, plus also will also render console output to a div as an option... etc...
