I think it’s fine, the full name would be Ruby Fire (not Fire Framework) and we’d just refer to it as Fire - like we do with Rails, where the full name is Ruby on Rails :)
Did you manage to read my bit on Fire in the blog post @adambeynon - I’ve changed it a bit since so can upload new version if you havent read it yet.

@AstonJ looks good to me
cant believe rails is 10 years old
maybe its why it feels quite ancient for client side stuff ;)

ahah yeah it is we celebrated at the paris ruby meet up last month ^^
@adambeynon you mentionned you had ideas for fire, would there be anyway for me help you with it?
I had some more ideas for vienna and was willing to implement them, but if you guys are planning something else, I might as well participate in the new framework :)

I think you are spot on @adambeynon - and I reckon lots of people feel the same way, and I think Fire (and other Opal based frameworks) really could catapult Ruby back to the forefront of web development. Sounds good @loicboutet I think we need to set up a private chat for all initial ideas, then open it up once Adam (with some help from us) decides on the direction of Fire. I am sure we all have ideas for it, maybe collectively we can come up with a vision :)
Also Adam, before I make the blog post live we (you :p )need to register the domain and put some info up, etc (tho again I think we need to sort out a private chat first to get the vision clarified)
