    that's extremely expensive for a 715

    @yiyoMX
    I've noticed that the openAPS compatible pumps are getting more expensive, and a bit harder to find...

    you might get more responses on intend-to-bolus, but they'll say what @cluckj just said :-)

    the only "bug" I've found with the rfm69 is that oref0-setup installs HAT code, which uploads {} for uploader because it has no battery, which then totally crashes NS
    like :boom:
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    hm dind't crash my nightscout instance
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    is that with cheapyboard, or just the bare rfm69?
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    I'm more annoyed from the errors of the display code, which is installed for no reaosn :D

    cheapyboard .. but I didn't solder the battery sensor
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    I'll feature branch the rfm69 stuff and write a how-to
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    or you fix the setup script :)
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    that's what I mean :P
    unless it's technically a bugfix that should go into dev before there's an RC?
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    think it is
    only current dev supports rfm69
    tynbendad
    @tynbendad
    are you using a battery board too with the rfm69? or not there yet? if so how is it for size/power usage?
    ie could this be a feasible alternative for longer battery/smaller footprint? or are you just doing 'cuz u can' ;)?
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    No battery board yet. I was putting it together to be able to write some support/howto docs and install scripting...
    Mine is just a stationary rig on a pi2

    Hi all. I saw a Facebook post asking if it's possible to display Nightscout BG value on a Divoom Timebox or Aurabox (a small 11x1q LED box). Have any of you tried this or where is the best place to ask?

    maybe nightscout/public?

    One interesting question, does your raspberry get hot at some point? Today mine got so hot it could not be held in hand
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    @dklapan_twitter Think that is very individual what you think is too hot to held in hand ... As far as I know is the SOC equipped with a thermal shutdown abouve 80° and also the loop code contains overheating shutdown. I never got problems with mine in a case.
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    @juehv is the only setup/config needed for your enlite loop stuff setting "mdt" as cgm type in preferences.json?
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    jap
    in the current dev
    I don't know how about the master though ...
    Scott Leibrand
    @scottleibrand
    I'm not sure if the oref0-pump-loop overheat detection code works on the Pi. I know the Edison exposes temperature info, but not sure if/how the Pi does.
    Jens Heuschkel
    @juehv
    when I started using the pi I tested it
    should work fine if nothing has changed
    this should work, but there's an easier way to do it: vcgencmd measure_temp
    @juehv thanks; it still needs all the setup in master
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    or not working like we should lower the temperature?
    Scott Leibrand
    @scottleibrand
    Not sure: would be worth testing.
    Jon Cluck
    @cluckj
    :thumbsup:
    @dklapan_twitter when your rig gets too hot, would you mind running vcgencmd measure_temp and let us know what the temperature is?
    tynbendad
    @tynbendad
    @dklapan_twitter were you charging it at the time? i think the edison-explorer has problems with some chargers/cables, i would hope that would be better on the explorer hat but maybe not...
    David Klapan
    @dklapan_twitter
    At the 1.55A charger it's around 36-45'C, now at rest with underclock at 500 Hz (default was at 700, it stays the same. Usually I keep all rig in Medtronic bag with zipper and maybe that was the problem with some kind of stuck or infinite loop combination since there was no communication with heroku. Since my question, I keep it in bag with opened zipper and looks like everything is fine so far
    yiyoMX
    @yiyoMX
    Hi all, is it possible to use an enlite transmitter offline if I use the 715 pump? Which does not receive enlite values? I see that openAPS pulls the values directly from the Medtronic pump, but it's unlcear if it would set the TI stick into a CGM receiver.
