    @TatjanaKutzner : Denise posted the page for the visualisation challenge at 11:57 - scroll up a bit. We're open for 'expressions of interest', and will share the detailed requirements by the end of the week - we're keeping that open in case we need to refine it in the light of this 2-day hack.

    Where can we find the slide decks please?
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    @gis_dom_twitter The data repo is only available to people in the room. Please have a look at the data catalogue and request a download link for a small number of datasets from @DianaMoraruOS

    Ok, links to the presentations below. Will add the last one on the experimentation brief shortly.

    For Magne, here are two engineering reports on the use of CityGML in automatically validating planning applications: http://docs.opengeospatial.org/per/16-099.html "Automating Urban Planning Using Web Processing Service" and "Using IFC/CityGML in Urban Planning" (http://docs.opengeospatial.org/per/16-097.html)

    Anybody working remotely who wants to share their thinking with us here in London?
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    Wayne from GovTech here. So far I have tried converting LoD3 and LoD4 buildings using the citygml2-to-citygml3 and they have worked well given that they are mainly syntactic changes.
    I am currently finding ways updating the LoD4 model with the BuildingUnit which is of interest to us.
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    Hi Wayne, very impressed you are staying up late. Have you used any of the data we are providing or your own data / would you be able to post any of your results?
    Also, let us know if you have any questions or ideas we could discuss in the room here (and provide feedback to you, of course).
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    I used the LoD2 from the Singapore set OS did for us as well as 2 models (LoD3 and LoD4) that I am unable to share. I managed to visualize it with a Cesium app that can read CityGML 3.0 I just wrote. I can share that image but how do I do it here?
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    cck-rooms-3.0.PNG
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    Ah, exellent. If this was one of the models you could share, could you also make the CityGML 3 GML file availalbe?
    We'd also be interested in your Cesium app - would you be prepared to share the app?
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    I guess I can make the CityGML 3.0 file available. It is short on semantics though, missing all the appearances/textures and information.
    The app is a simple one for quickly visualizing my models so most CityGML 3.0 surfaces are hard-coded e.g. searching for con:WallSurface in the gml file and color coding them
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    Could you email the GML file and the Cesium app to me?
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    Let me clean up the app and host it on github
    Just sent the GML file to your email

    If you convert CityGML3 to glTF or COLLADA/KMZ, then you can also visualize the model with our virtualcityMAP Cesium app at https://berlin.virtualcitymap.de/
    After the web map has loaded, simply click on "Apps" on the right, and then on the "Planner Widget" as shown below

    Yes Claus, unfortunately I do not have access to VCS right now.
    Claus Nagel
    @clausnagel_twitter
    Use "citygml3" and "hackathon" to login into the planner
    Then click on the edit button next to "CityGML v3 Hackathon" project to upload your file

    Hi everyone, if you are waiting for the next goto meeting session to start our apologies, we are running late and will start it as soon as possible.
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    There are still a number of us here and we'll do a final back-brief with gotomeeting in 10 minutes
    Florian Esser
    @florianesser
    Hi @GeoCarsten, Florian from wetransform here. My colleague @JohannaOtt and I would be available for a hale studio / hale connect introduction at 11:00 BST / 12:00 CEST.
    Dean Hintz
    @deanhintz
    Hello - I'm back
    waiting in the gotomeeting
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    @florianesser Great. Thank.s I'll schedule this for 11:00AM BST
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    Thanks for the offer, Florian and Johanna!

    @clausnagel_twitter I tried to upload a gltf file to the Planner Widget, but ran into the error "Unhandled rejection Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/srv/planning/temp/uploads/Byf6vL5nchevepPg/Building.bin'" How can I solve this?
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    One question on the implementation of CityGML 3.0 onto a database. Previously in 3DCityDB, it was pretty complex with CityGML 2.0 schema. How well does CityGML 3.0 now translate into a database?
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    GTM details for presentation at 14:30 London time: https://www4.gotomeeting.com/join/588066989
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    @juz4u2me - If you mean complex = a lot of tables, that won't necessarily change. What changes is that you should be able to derive database schemas automatically from the UML model. The model itself was developed independently from a database representation and, I guess, more needs to be to create encoding rules that result in fit-for-purpose db schemas. Hope you'll be joining us for the final presentations in about 1/2 hour from now.
    Wayne
    @juz4u2me
    Yes I will be joining in.
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten

    Hi everyone, we are putting together a small video of the 2 days of the hackathon. If you have images of your visualisation or even small videos of them that you would like to have included in the video can you please email me at dmckenzie@opengeospatial.org - please include a one line description of it and your name and organisation so that I can attribute it on the video. We will hopefully make it available on youtube next week.
    Also if you have any general photos that you would like to share from the past 2 days as well please email me with those as well :-)

    @hlg
    Hi all, I have uploaded a simple IFC4-CityGML3 transformation project to HALEconnect in case anyone is interested. It is no fancy conversion, just a very basic proof-of-concept.
    Carsten
    @GeoCarsten
    Thanks, Helga. Will have a look?
    If anyone has produced an output at or after the event they want to share, please sharing this with us. Thanks!
    RomainMetivier
    @RomainMetivier
    Do you know if somebody provide report or ppoint or video of the event ? Many thanks :-
    Scott Simmons
    @ogcscotts
    @RomainMetivier if you become a member of the CityGML SWG, there are a whole series of presentations in the files for that SWG. I will email you the details on how to get to those presentations.
