Hello, Just a quick one, does anyone know of any tools that can easily take a large image (e.g. TIFF, JPEG / GIF) and convert it to a deep zoom image. I tried the Deep Zoom Creator but it is more designed to apply to different images to create one zoom, but I am looking for something which takes one image and breaks it up.
I know Microsoft ICE can do this, but the stitching has not worked well, but other tools do however they don't seem to export DZI formats. Many Thanks!

@TravisH84 I do it into 2 stages: creates resized big images from source, then use this script to slice each image for each zoom level: ImageMagick\convert.exe "SourceFolder\zoomLevel.png" -crop 256x256 +repage +adjoin -background none -gravity NorthWest "SourceFolder\zoomLevel\%04d.png"

By Deep Zoom Creator are you speaking of Deep Zoom Composer, or is there another tool?
@VoidVolker what would you think about wrapping up your image magick solution into a little script that we can add to that page?

@iangilman yes, I have this idea, but right now script writed on very specific language and can be used only with special automation programm under windows and I don't have time now to rewrite it to bash or ps :(

@VoidVolker fair enough. Well, I look forward to when you can get around to it!
