We just started using the latest code and apparently someone introduced code that causes the tiled image to load from level 1 on up through level 8 when we open an image. Previously this would start much later in the tile level like around level 5 which greatly reduces our image resolution time. We are loading our tiles from a network source so each request for a new tile has a round trip time and so forth. Does anyone have any idea what happened and why? I don't really want to diverge from the main code base, but this is a pretty big performance hit for us.
