Yeah, the point around the viewer is rotated is exactly the point I'm looking for. But which is the correct tile to pass to this function?

I think, I figured it out: the rotation seems to take the center of OSD main canvas (viewer.canvas.firstChild) as rotation point. at least in my tests rotating the clicked point by clickedPoint.rotate(-rotation, canvasCenter) delivers the correct viewport coordinates. I could then update viewportToImageCoordinates() and make a PR if deserved?

@ChiSamurai Please do! I'm wondering which conversion methods should include rotation, and whether they should include it by default, but I'm sure we can sort that out.

@iangilman - I have created an Laravel Specific package that implements my PHP Deepzoom Tile Generator: https://github.com/jeremytubbs/laravel-deepzoom

@jeremytubbs Right on. I'm not familiar with Laravel...what's it about?

@iangilman Laravel is a popular PHP Framework... it is what I use for most of my web projects. This package simply provides a console command and interacts with Laravel's queue which is good for long running tasks.

@jeremytubbs Gotcha, cool. You should link to it from https://github.com/jeremytubbs/deepzoom...
