Hey there. Has anyone ever come across a "seam issue" like this? I'm trying to troubleshoot the root of the problem. I'm using libvips https://www.dropbox.com/s/u5xrwck5eis3gjw/stitch-issue.jpg?dl=0

@Dephora what you use for as image source and how slice images? Do you have overlapping options?

@VoidVolker The source was an svs file. Used libvips to slice (with the default settings)

I actually looked at this last night but we can't use imagemagick due to it loading up the entire image in memory and we are working with huge images

what size?

@dephora

45k x 45k are the biggest we have used for our test images but we know they will be far larger than that
I tested it on image 50k x 5k in VM with few GB of memory

magick-slicer.sh foo.jpg -p "--with-quantum-depth=8" or magick-slicer.sh foo.jpg -p "-limit memory 16mb -limit map 32mb"
-p - is transfer commands to IM
@Dephora send me feedback, please, if it will work, I'll add command in slicer

@VoidVolker I gave yours a shot but imagemagick doesn't like svs files so I would have to convert to tif
VoidVolker

strange, it must work with svs

@Dephora Cool...#755 has been fixed post 2.1.0, so if you want it now, you'll have to build from master

@VoidVolker Yeah, I had actually tried that earlier which resulted in "compression not supported". As seen in the post below jpeg2000 isn't supported which we have to accommodate.
