Hey! I'm having some issues with the animation of an overlay element
sorry guys instead of hey! I mean "Hello good people of seadragon ;-)"
So simple question : Does anybody knows hot to disable the animation of an overlay element?
when I zoom in or out or pan, I have a overlay rectangle that animates with scale and displacement
how can I stop this?

So you want an overlay which does not move with the viewer?
In that case, you can just create a standard html element and position it yourself

No... It should move with the zoom and pan... But I don't want to animate because it looks like slow

do you have a lot of them?
there isn't a way to make them jump. I guess you could create a custom overlay and only move them when the 'animation-finish' event fires but it will looks weird I think.

... or you could create a standard HTML element and position it in response to animation-finish events (I guess just another way of doing what @avandecreme said)

yeah that is what I meant. I shouldn't have said custom overlay.
