trying to use OSD with FabricJS but encountering issues like altert/OpenseadragonFabricjsOverlay#11
@iangilman what is the status of the issues with recent versions of Chrome?

did a build off of latest master but those issues with the FabricJS overlay seem to still be present.

@mikepence doesn't look like there's been any further action on that (I'm not aware of there being an issue filed on the OSD repository about this). I know @msalsbery is currently slammed with other projects. Did you try the workaround mentioned? If you don't need to support pointer events (i.e. not mouse, not touch, but the Microsoft pen), maybe that's good enough?
Anyway, if you want to help push it forward, you can file an issue on the OSD side
Also, depending on what you're using Fabric for, you could also switch to the SVG or Canvas overlay, but then you'd have to build your own interaction code.

what is the center of viewport rotation?
I have a case - I calculate bounds of object on page, use fitBounds
and then rotate viewport
but sometimes I need to change width of available bounds at the same time, and that's where rotate makes things weird. I assume it is not rotating around viewport center?

@altert I think it's rotating around the center of wherever the viewport is currently panned to. @avandecreme would have more detail
