Of course if you go with canvas, you'll have to do all the hit testing yourself. On the other hand, that means you'll be sure to get it right :)

@iangilman I got a response from a Moz dev. The general gist is that I am scaling past the point of floating point precision. I'm going to play around with manually calculating the polygon points and drag-handles and see where that gets me.
