Seems that macOS fails to build. It failed trying to find 7zip-bin-mac

Nice, I haven't seen that one before. I'll open an issue to keep track and test it in a day or so. I've had problems with the macOS VM I've been using for testing shutting down unexpectedly, might have to redo the VM as well.
Unsure if you even use the vlunerable bit, just posting

"Luckily" it's not currently used. It could be useful to have the GUI register a protocol handler for vcash://addr:amount (unless it'd conflict). Looking at the docs it appears that it's available for macOS and Windows only at the moment (https://electronjs.org/docs/api/app#appsetasdefaultprotocolclientprotocol-path-args-macos-windows).

I don't know if you care for it, but if you want I can whip up a Windows build (AppVeyor) file and connect it to the repo for Windows build testing. Not too important though.

Like you said, it's not the most important thing at the moment. If Linux and macOS build you can be 99% certain Windows will as well because there's nothing inherently OS specific included.

Just saw the gif, the revamped UI looks great :+1:
