Hi everybody
what's up?

Hi @/all, just wanted to say I'm working on the kinetics estimation algorithm (with structure-function relationship analysis using bioinformatics methods), and had some good progress.
Actually, I had some changes in my plan. I was going to work on the pipeline, but because of some other issues I preferred to finish the estimation part first.
Meanwhile, I hope the progress in updating Neurotune and PyNeuroML, make the pipeline implementation easier for the next step.
Is there any plan for updating issues related to the presentation and data layer?

Would you please define "kinetics estimation" ? I read it in articles and i don't understand

@miladjafary, as mentioned in documentations earlier, we are going to model ion channel kinetics with two methods: one is from patch clamp studies (using the pipeline), and the other method is estimating using homologous channels with known kinetics, here I'm working on analysing protein sequences to find some structure-function relationship in order to estimate and validate needed parameters

and also ligand

Our focus is on voltage-gated ion channels for now, because of their importance and role in shaping action potentials, but as we go further we will start modeling ligand-gated ion channels too.
