Ghost
@ghost~5910ddcfd73408ce4f5dfa87
Just remove it from the flags
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
moreover, to stop using DTS I should just remove it from the DTS file?
Ghost
@ghost~5910ddcfd73408ce4f5dfa87
Well, you are alreayd not using it. No harm keeping it in the DTS file
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
hmmm
ok
Ghost
@ghost~5910ddcfd73408ce4f5dfa87
We want to switch to DTS later
after you fix the driver as is, so keep it there
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
ok then
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
@imphil STM log does not work without crashing
how you I know that data is arriving in the COMPUTE tile?
I cannot simply printf()
because the UART termnal is beeing used...
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
So you enabled STM for the second tile with baremetal and the terminal for the first tile with linux and nothing else? And what's crashing then? opensocdebugd?
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
wow
WAIT
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
@imphil @stffrdhrn @wallento sending data from the HOST tile to the COMPUTE tile works
=D
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
Nice! Already a great step forward!
Stefan Wallentowitz
@wallento
nice
sorry, I was out during the call
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
=)
no problem.... I shall now try to fix the interrupts
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
@imphil could you or @wallento please push a "README" file on the https://github.com/optimsoc/linux-apps? Since there are no files in the repository I cannot clone it
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@ppenna done
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
@imphil thank you! I'll submit a pull request for the linux-apps in a couple of ours
I've already submitted a patch for the optimsoc repo
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@ppenna where did you submit the PR for optimsoc? https://github.com/optimsoc/optimsoc/pulls doesn't list it
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
I have send a PR for linux repô
Besides, have you receivd the link for my report?
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
ah ok, I'll look briefly through the PR, a more substantial review probably can be done by Stafford ahead of sending it to LKML
on the report, I'm looking through it right now
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
Ty... I still need to write the building and testing section... I should finish it after Lynch
Ler me know what are you expecting there, if anything especial
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
will do
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@ppenna I've added some comments to the document. Make sure to keep the deadline from google in mind. Until this time you need to publish that to your blog and give the URL to google in the final evaluation form.
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
Surge
**sure ty
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
most importantly, the report needs to list all prs and other code contributions that you made
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
ok
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
@imphil I still cannot fork https://github.com/optimsoc/linux-apps
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@ppenna hm, strange. I've created the readme and somehow it got removed again!?
anyways, its there again and I can also fork the repo now
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
now it works!
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@ppenna I've looked through the report again, looks mostly good! Please open a issue on GitHub for the two remaining issues you mentioned at the end so that can get tracked (and also link to the issue # in your report)
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
@imphil thanks! I'm working on the pull requests... Once I'm done with that I'll open the issues
Ghost
@ghost~5910ddcfd73408ce4f5dfa87
Hello, sorry I missed the call, yesterday was a long day I was in bed a few hours before the meeting
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@stffrdhrn there was no call yesterday
Philipp Wagner
@imphil
@ppenna to write a guest blog post for the optimsoc site, just write it in markdown and do a PR on this repo: https://github.com/optimsoc/optimsoc-web/tree/master/_posts
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
thanks for the directions @imphil
Pedro Henrique Penna
@ppenna
