It is caused by the following file missing File with name holding.pcl does not exist in storage ExampleDb
I do have a class named ‘holding’ in my GraphDB. I had an issue with my database shutting down and now this file is missing. I cannot connect to it via the console to do a repair or anything. I’m wondering if there is some way to do a recovery?

How to connect to orient dB graph database using Java gremlin. I am not fi ding any tutorials.

@RedactedProfile
@jonsalvas you'll have to delete all edges coming and going from a node first before you can delete the node itself. A housekeeping restraint.

Any thoughts a bout the following? I've tried downloading the tar.gz of 3.0.9 (both the normal and tp3 versions) and also 3.0.0 (all from the aws location), and I cannot get any of them to run. in every case I get the error
Cannot create custom command invoking the constructor: com.orientechnologies.orient.graph.server.command.OServerCommandGetGephi
I then tried cloning and building from the develop branch, but then I get the following error in the tests
[ERROR] Errors: [ERROR] OPartitionedDatabasePoolTest.testMultiThread » Completion java.lang.IllegalSta...
Any thoughts about what I can do to either run from the tarball or get the tests to pass on the source code?

Hello everyone. I have some problems with OrientDB console utility. I have tried to build an OrientDB cluster with Kubernetes. I have set up hazelcast kubernetes plugin and the nodes discovery works properly. However, when I run OrientDB console oneach of the pods, particular command produce errors or do not give any result at all.
For example, when I run cluster status I get ".ODatabaseException: The database instance is not set in the current thread". Or when I run list servers I get "Distributed configuration is not active, cannot retrieve server list". Although, list connections display the list of all the connections and the addressed for each node. What could be the reason of such behavior?

Hi,

I am newbie to OrientDB, and trying out Graph Model. I am running into few problems with UPSERT code using Java drivers. I am not able to find a way to use MERGE <JSON> using .command API. I also tried looking for POJO way of upsetting, but couldn’t find the driver documentation. I would greatly appreciate if anyone can point me documentation or some examples.

When I try to import a public database I get An error occurred when trying to reach public databases repository. Please check your connection.I noticed this issue that is closed: orientechnologies/orientdb-studio#391 and I also tried the url listed there: http://www.orientechnologies.com/public-databases/config.json and it gets a http 502 and times out. Is there another way to load sample databases?

Hey there. I would love to know the state of .NET (Core) support for OrientDB. All available drivers haven't been updated in ages, are incompatible with 3.x and frankly in a sorry state. Github issues go unanswered for years, etc, etc.
Any word on this would be much appreciated.

Hey guys, i’ve got a db running on a server and i want to grab a copy of that DB and put it on another machine. I’m currently using the export command to export the data and the import command to import the data but when i import, the @Rid of the entities change which screws up my data. Is there any way to preserve the @RID of the data?

Aloa people. Anyone knows how I can filter a collection property to include any element of a collection parameter?
e.g. if the property is [1,2,3,4,5], I want to check if there is any element that is inside [3,9] (hence true)

Hi guys, I am new to orientdb and I just installed the latest stable release (3.0.21), but the graph APIs seem to be very different from the ones in the official documentation (e.g. g.V() does not work, g.vertices() works), any ideas why?

Hi,
Hi

@vishnudas-raveendran

Hi,
When I run
match {class: Employee, as: emp, where: (Name = 'James')}.out('hasEmpID') {class: EmployeeID,as: eid, where: (id='0110')} return eid
using the java Graph API instead of returning the vertex it returns null (to be specific It returns #-1:-2{pp:#69:12} v0). The vertex I require is present in the data structure but I am unable to access it.

The snippet of code i used is from the doc
for(Vertex employeeIdVertex : (Iterable<Vertex>) graph.command(new OCommandSQL(query)).execute()){
// Do the relevant op with the vertex
}

Could you please guide me through as to how to fetch the eid node from the query? (If I use $elements I get all the nodes in the path, but that would require additional traversing code which I find cubersome)
