Congratulation for your work, it's an amazing job and the color scheme is one of the few I like ! :)
Now, I am curious, will your introduce a red-colors based theme, as palenight recently ? :)
hi @Kendos-Kenlen, atm i’m focused on visual studio code porting. Red is a warm color and i think it may not a be a good choise. Material Theme was made for relax while coding. :)
@equinusocio good luck in your port then :) In fact I was thinking to the red after I found "firewatch-hot" for Atom (https://atom.io/themes/firewatch-hot-syntax) which, with One Dark theme, render very well and don't hurt eyes.
Hi @alexeymrkn . Material Theme for sublime text is deprecated and no more under active development. Check the readme:
This project is not more under active development. Since Sublime Text is an obsolete software compared to other editors please consider Material Theme for Visual Studio Code. This repo will will keep approving fixing PR from contributors, if there is one.
@equinusocio Sorry, didn't notice that.
I also didn't know that Sublime Text is considered obsolete nowadays
@alexeymrkn it’s a bit violent to say it’s obsolete, but it’s no longer considered as a modern text editor. Like Emacs, Notepad++, … Modern text editors are Atom and VSCode today. You can also have the « material theme » plugin for IntelliJ IDEA and other based IDE that do the same job.
Since this theme is no longer maintained, does anyone know the active fork of Material theme?
Hi @equinusocio, this is Sandeep, a PHP and Python dev from Melbourne, Australia. I have been using Material Theme in almost every tool I use and it's awesome. Thanks for the Material Theme. I saw the repo today and found out that you are looking for Python dev's to re-build the theme. If you are still looking for Python dev's, I would like to contribute. Can you let me know. Thanks
