Hey @scottyhq things are going great.. I am presenting a demo to the South African Weather Service Monday using Pangeo, repo is here.. (WIP) https://github.com/ANL-DIGR/saws-demo

One small issue I have is I can not get the start script to execute which automagically provisions with data

No biggie as I can just have users source ~/binder/start

Hi @PhenoloBoy - the streams are not going to be recorded unfortunately. Challenges with some of the AV details this morning kept us from doing that.

hey folks (in particular @jhamman @rabernat @mrocklin) I wanted to share a draft of a post that'll go up on the Jupyter blog soon. It's from Jim Colliander, who is the director of the Pacific Institute of Mathematical Sciences and has been running the Syzygy project for national-scale JupyterHub deployments. He's got a blog post queued up about their experiences running hubs for all of Canada, and some ideas for how to grow and sustain a model such as this. @scollis you’re right I think the pangeo binder isn’t setup for a start script, so you’ll have to stick to@your workaround for now https://github.com/pangeo-data/pangeo-stacks/blob/0425c2df72c0badd2f37dde4b6f02f2a55b8de2b/onbuild/r2d_overlay.py#L125
