federico
@federico44_twitter
as far as i know parity relies on etherscan correct?
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
both show the chain
in different ways
certain parts of it with the possibility to interact
where do you see it on etherscan?
federico
@federico44_twitter
in my wallet, in token transfers
TIX token
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
etherscan- wallet????
federico
@federico44_twitter
they are verified
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
etherscan is an internet page
federico
@federico44_twitter
no, when i copy paste my public key i etherscan
i can see all ballances and transactions of my wallet on etherscan
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
but a token ?
federico
@federico44_twitter
yes
"view token balances"
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
oh really
federico
@federico44_twitter
yea, pretty nice actually
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
correct token issuer?
federico
@federico44_twitter
civic worked fine like every other token so far
blocktix and XID token i have issues with. XID because they are not verified yet
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
but the missing visibility within parity irritates you
federico
@federico44_twitter
Screen Shot 2017-07-18 at 17.44.00.png
exactly
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
but you see the builtin token registry?
federico
@federico44_twitter
if i cant see them i cant prepare transactions
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
within the application topic
federico
@federico44_twitter
you mean parity right know?
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
jep
federico
@federico44_twitter
of the problem token (XID and TIX) i dont see nothing on parity, no transactions, no balances
on MEW you have to add custom token to see your token
parity did it by itself so far, just those too i cant see
XID because they are not verified (see screenshot)
TIX i dont know and the devs dont neither
TIX is verified
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
i guess as this is distributed technology sometimes we have to be patient
federico
@federico44_twitter
BUT i see my TIX transaction AND balance on etherscan, researching my wallet
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
that`s good so far as you can see that the transaction has been fulfilled
federico
@federico44_twitter
yea i am not worried but i like parity
so i dont like to move to MEW because of that
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
then i would wait a little more although understanding the idea uf using that tokens
what is MEW
federico
@federico44_twitter
myetherwallet
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
thats an internet site
which is not under your control
no matter what scam said this week
federico
@federico44_twitter
no, but it allows you to manage your etherwallet including any token
yea there have been MEW-scams cause its a very popular wallet
the most popular afaik for ETH
roninkaizen
@roninkaizen
could be, but would always favourize a local client
