how do I configure username and password for the RPC JSON API

this is what I am using right now
I basically downloaded a snapshot and then started the openethereum from that
is there a way to check if the snapshot was correct, openethereum is syncing right now

epheph just call "withdraw()", argment: how much eth you have stored there

epheph oh, you're issue is with recovering the old parity wallet, not interacting with etherdelta, sorry. i don't have experience with recovering old parity wallets, but i believe they are just json files? that MyCrypto or MyEtherWallet can open as a "keystore file"
epheph i'm assuming you still have the data from your old parity install, and that one file in there is a .json file with your private key encoded

no I have a 12 word seed but it is an older seed that is no longer used in modern wallets.
I have some eth stuck in myetherwallet, which i don't know how to withdraw as i can't sign into etherdelta with MetaMask using the older seed version

epheph i'm glad i found this bug in MEW while we were looking into this, it's pretty serious for MEW to say "here is your paper wallet" and NOT give you a private key! that's what the prod version does right now

Hello~

I'm running a ropesteen testnet through Parity (v2.7.X), and it's stuck syncing at block #8579999.
But when you look at etherscan, it's currently sinking from #8569345, and some other explorer's sync is stuck at #8579999, like me.
Ropsten's chain seems to have divided, so I'd like to know which is right.

When I try sign a transaction to transfer KSM from polkadot.js UI i get the ' Unable to parse transaction: No private key found for account ..' error. I readded the account using the QR code and i can see the balance.
Anyone know what the issue is

@MinwooJ I have exact same problem. Seems like parity was on wrong chain and trying solve it now. What do i have to do in this situation, full resync or any tools for come back to right chain?
