Hallo everyone, I have deployed a dockerized parity node on k8s.
The node is running over there, however I don't know how/where to look for logs (just as we see in the terminal).
any idea how to see the logs of node on k8s?
thanks

Hello!
How much it can take for parity to sync an archival node using warp/fast option with the recommended hardware settings?

Hi, i am trying to sync new openethereum node with warp barrier or snapshots. If I don't put warp barrier it starts syncing from 1st block on, if I put the barrier it just gets peers and stays like that. Can you please let me know what parameter do I need to use for those two modes? Thanks

Hello! We've been trying to sync kovan using parity v2.7.2 stable, but it connects only to 1 or 0 peers and nodes.json is full of failures, we've tried restarting and deleting nodes.json, but does not help. Any advice?

So, any suggestions back in the day b4 recovery phrases I had a wallet that used an address and a private key. I still have my address and private key. Mind you this was using the very first wallet parity had created. Now how can I access this cause it seems the only way to recover a wallet is to use a pass phrase that I never had. Is there a way to pull my wallet up and A convert it to a wallet using a recovery phrase or b some how send my eth to a new wallet I have that has a recovery phrase via using a contract that includes my address and private key. I mined about 15eth on main net on this wallet back when eth was a few bucks and figure this would be a good time to cash out but can't find a way to get into it because parity no longer uses the wallet software it was created with. Abyone ideas?

Edit: I meant recovery phrase not pass phrase
Greg Slepak
@taoeffect
@Jasonx370 I could be mistaken but I don't think you can go from the private key to the recovery phrase (only in the other direction)

How does one use parity these days? I haven't used it since 2018, when it was an windows executable. Is there an article/docs for migrating to the new process. I still have an old wallet+passphrase etc.

I mean to say, there seems to be a plethora of products now. Which to use to access the early 2018's era wallet?

Hi, can someone please explain me the difference between eth_getTransactionCount and parity_nextNonce? I'm reading the code but as a beginner to the codebase, it's not clear to me how the results of both calls relate to each other.

Am I right in thinking that eth_getTransactionCount only considers mined transactions, while parity_nextNonce also considers the pool of pending transactions? Is a signed but not submitted transaction increasing the nonce returned by parity_nextNonce?

Apologies for this simple question. I had old, plain Parity on my computer, and am trying to clean up my wallets (invested my allocation in 2017-2018, then no more).. Parity Chrome extension is no longer on my computer. Don't know why. But, I have my original login and password, and phrase. Where do I find plain old Parity (not Parity Signer that has to be on an old phone offline), and sign in to recover my info? If it has to be Parity Signer, then what do I put in the New Account space since I don't see an option to recover an old wallet? Again apologies for bothering you, and thank you for your assistance. And don't bother to ask me for my ID info and phrase because I won't give it to you.
