    hello! welcome to the gitter chat
    David Provan
    @davidprovan_twitter
    Hey, wondering if anyone here can help with a TypeScript query with the module?
    Getting this error
    "Cannot find module '@env' or its corresponding type declarations.ts(2307)"

    goatandsheep/react-native-dotenv#52 this seems to resolve the issue for us.

    We can run on emulator but archive is failing in Xcode
    trying a clean and build (o:

    @goatandsheep
    okay. keep me in the loop
    David Provan
    @davidprovan_twitter
    will do
    Previously we got this @goatandsheep "error Unable to resolve module @env from src/utils/Environment/util.ts: @env could not be found within the project."
    I created the env.d.ts file and have included it
    Visual Code is happy about it and it wasn't before
    Building a new app in xcode as I type.
    Archive failed after clean, testing on simulator now

    App builds and runs as expected in Simulator

    @davidprovan_twitter
    But archive still errors out @mburnet6_twitter ?
    Matt and I work together @goatandsheep
    We have this in our babel.config.json
    [
    "module:react-native-dotenv", {
    "moduleName": "@env",
    "path": ".env",
    "blacklist": null,
    "whitelist": null,
    "safe": false,
    "allowUndefined": false
    }
    ]
    so I feel like we have met the requirements?
    What version of RN are we on @mburnet6_twitter ?
    Matthew Burnett
    @mburnet6_twitter
    just updated to RN 0.63.1-1
    we use the react-native-tvos repo hence the -1 piece
    Kemal Ahmed
    @goatandsheep
    I actually recommend you not put allowundefined: falsealthough I understand why you would for TypeScript
