    hello! welcome to the gitter chat
    David Provan
    @davidprovan_twitter
    Hey, wondering if anyone here can help with a TypeScript query with the module?
    Getting this error
    "Cannot find module '@env' or its corresponding type declarations.ts(2307)"

    @davidprovan_twitter
    goatandsheep/react-native-dotenv#52 this seems to resolve the issue for us.
    Kemal Ahmed
    @goatandsheep
    I'm glad!

    @davidprovan_twitter
    Well not there yet
    Kemal Ahmed
    @goatandsheep
    let me know if there's more i can do :)

    We can run on emulator but archive is failing in Xcode
    trying a clean and build (o:
    Kemal Ahmed
    @goatandsheep
    okay. keep me in the loop
    David Provan
    @davidprovan_twitter
    will do
    Previously we got this @goatandsheep "error Unable to resolve module @env from src/utils/Environment/util.ts: @env could not be found within the project."
    I created the env.d.ts file and have included it
    Visual Code is happy about it and it wasn't before
    Building a new app in xcode as I type.
    Archive failed after clean, testing on simulator now

    @mburnet6_twitter
    App builds and runs as expected in Simulator
    David Provan
    @davidprovan_twitter
    But archive still errors out @mburnet6_twitter ?
    Matt and I work together @goatandsheep
    We have this in our babel.config.json
    [
    "module:react-native-dotenv", {
    "moduleName": "@env",
    "path": ".env",
    "blacklist": null,
    "whitelist": null,
    "safe": false,
    "allowUndefined": false
    }
    ]
    so I feel like we have met the requirements?
    What version of RN are we on @mburnet6_twitter ?
    Matthew Burnett
    @mburnet6_twitter
    just updated to RN 0.63.1-1
    we use the react-native-tvos repo hence the -1 piece
    Kemal Ahmed
    @goatandsheep
    I actually recommend you not put allowundefined: falsealthough I understand why you would for TypeScript
    David Provan
    @davidprovan
    Hey @goatandsheep are you around?
    We are still getting issues exporting an app store build of RN with 2.4.2
    we are on RN 0.63.1
    Unable to resolve module@envfromsrc/utils/Environment/util.ts: @env could not be found within the project.
    our debug and local builds work
    just not the production ones, we attempted to walk through the steps in the issue but still our iOS archive fails with the above error
    Kemal Ahmed
