@tjconcept After the 3D secure fix the customer is getting this error:

@poulfoged the customer could try the "Open full-screen", but it certainly looks like their bank does not comply with 3-D Secure, or don't support it.
Poul Foged Nielsen
@poulfoged
Ok, thanks. Can I turn off 3-D Secure requirement?
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept
Most likely, yes, send an email to hello@paylike.io with the public key, and a supporter will get back as soon as possible.

Ok, now paylike rejects my danish cards that used to work - I guess the providers requires 3DS?

@poulfoged

While we're at it - I've noticed another error in our logs. Know what that this means?

at Popup.close (https://sdk.paylike.io/3.js:1075:2704)
at HTMLButtonElement. (https://sdk.paylike.io/3.js:1074:3558)"

@tjconcept
It simply looks like a user closed the popup. You should probably not throw this but just ignore it.

@tjconcept : do you have list of MCC charging cash advance fee for Credit purchases ?
Secondly, can paylike return with accuracy if a card is a debit or credit ? especially for US and UK cards ? (binlist.net is not accurate)
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept
I am afraid no. Both questions are "by design" impossible to solve accurately. That's because there's a history in card schemes for delegating to members (issuers) and prohibiting discrimination based on card types or any other issuer-decided programs they may have for hard.
(generally speaking)
bsbits
@bsbits
So it is the bank that decide which merchant (or merchant category) the cash advance fee will be applied for ?
I thought there was some sort of list of "known MCC code" banks charge a fee for, like MCC 4829
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept
Yes. Issuers have all sorts of different setups for cards. For instance, I don't pay any MCC dependent fees at all on most of my current cards.
To add to the debit/credit answer: it's not even that simple. In many EU countries (at least) we have deferred-debit as well, which is basically a debit card with an underlying credit line at the bank, meaning it's a debit card to everyone on the acquiring side but a credit to the issuer - causing much confusion for cardholders who think they own a credit card.
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept
The idea is that all of this shouldn't matter to merchants though - it's between cardholder and issuer.
Gilles Vauvarin
@vauvarin
Hi, is there a way to customize the look of the pop-up (background-color, color text, add a logo ... ) ?
Gilles Vauvarin
@vauvarin
Hi @tjconcept, I've got a second question: can we translate our custom fields? If yes, how?
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept

I am afraid you can not customize the popup as it's supposed to be a minimal plug 'n play solution. However, you always have the option of designing your own form.

The custom fields can be translated by providing any text in their label property you wish.

Hello, Do I have to store the cards list per user locally? based on the card id returned when saving a card for later use
Also tokenizing a card needs to be called against https://gateway.paylike.io/cards while all the others to api.paylike.io ?
I am using the PHP sdk and this "tokenization" does not seem to be implemented, you can only add cards based on previous transactionids
Catalin Zmole
@czmole
I also mailed these doubts to hello@ (just to be sure:) )
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept

Hi @czmole,

Yes, you have to store the link between cards/transactions and users yourself as Paylike has no notion of your "users".

You should often not send data yourself to gateway.paylike.io but instead rely on the SDK. It will return either a transaction or card ID to a callback.

"tokenization" is not built into the libraries because you are not supposed to do so from your server - you are generally not supposed to ever let the sensitive card details reach your server.

Please send further questions to the support email thread 🙂

Catalin Zmole
@czmole
Thank you, @tjconcept ! All good for now :)

Can we use some other accepted testing cards aside from 4100 xxx ... ?

Nevermind I used the cards that Stripe suggests for testing and some of them are working :)

Hi
Can we use paylike for payment integration in mobile app
Catalin Zmole

Hi, we just did it, consuming an API on the server, except the transaction which generates the token based on CC data on the client and sends the transaction ID to the server after

@nicusoare
Hi. Where can I find the different card numbers /amounts for testing in order to get back all the possible results of a "create transaction" ?
Thomas Jensen
@tjconcept
@nicusoare I'm afraid specific error code testing is still somewhat limited, but you can trigger an error. See this page: https://paylike.io/integration/sandbox.
