    @aosucas499 I just tested eggs produce -s, it work normally. Take cure to execute sudo eggs kill before to produce and, give the script ./bind from /home/eggs/ovarium this command mount --bind the filesystems in /home/eggs/ovarium/filesystem.squashfs. Perhas you tried to launch ./mksquashfs and ./mkiso without mount the live filesystem (script ./bind)

    It was a mistake when I install with calamares in efi partition, it needs grub-amd64-signed and shim-signed
    github.com/aosucas499/guadalinex... it's a distro for the Andalusian government to use in schools, but the didn't produce installer, it's based in Ubuntu focal

    It's good but it was good in the past times, now days for lack of money they only change a few
    things from Ubuntu...thank to your tool now we have iso to install in all computers

    I will try it later... if you want I can include yours modification in calamares themes and add a theme like guadalinex directly inside the source

    Only for testing so the teachers try and give feedback but It will be amazing if you include, in the folder /isobuilder/eggs/eggs-install you have the modifications.

    Another thing, I put same instruction for safe mode in the cd... probably are not so good. If you write them better it's an help too and i will include too in the next version

    no, I mead the safe option in the grub menu in the cd or in the isolinux menu always in the cd... I dont think thew work well

    yes, probably I used same bad configurations as I remember I copied it from same debian or ubuntu iso, but you know it is not so much used and it is broken

    You used eggs in a completely different way, yes, i know it is a command line tool, but I'm amazing from your eggs-install.sh. This confirm me who write a cli tool and not a gui application is good. Never I thought to use eggs in this way, but yes it is possible!

    @aosucas499 don't worry for the safe option, just checked and was a quite stupid error, in God know that editing sessione I wrote APPEND initrd={{{vmlinuz}}} ... in the place of APPEND initrd={{{initrdImg}}}... etc. Quite stupid but never checked :-D

    becouse I thoug alway to use flag for example for theme, but to have just a directory, an install-eggs and all the configurations in it is better.
    everyone know that are her needs, less code for me and the same or better results
    everyone can manage it, just few files and you can customize not only calamares branding but partition,yml and so on. For example I have idea to have a versione of proxmox-ve with gui. I made iso, but became difficult to integrate all the thing, in this way can be short

    I think the flag -theme is a really good idea, but you know, I did in that way in a quicker way for testing purpose

    I did that because the eggs produce need the focal sources and the final version of my distro won't. So I used -vs, being sure it installs all the dependencies, I delete focal repo and I run produce being sure the final version won't give mistakes

    @aosucas499 Hola, I just upload the last version of eggs 7.7.4 with the guadalinex theme. I used an icon from internet and perhaps you have better icons, I have also idea to expand theme a little more. es: add theme name to the iso image eg: GUIDELINEX_basename-YYYY-MM-DD-HH:MM.iso r think about the possibility to include default desktop wallpapers and so on. It' work in progress, but look to run correctly. To update eggs just sudo eggs update, choose basked and you will get last four versione from sourceforce. I hope you will like, but with time will be better
    btw. the actual version of theme include calamares and both isolinux and grub configuration for liveCD

    Hi Piero, after the amazing results of your tool in new Guadalinex, in our schools, time ago we are developing an old version of a distro linux based in debian jessie, for our old computers, it goes really well,with updates browsers, etc...but our installer in some old computer give problems, i was thinking in use your tool but with the Debian no not calamares installer. How can I adapt so the tool think I'm in debian stretch(sometimes we use the stretch repos in apt) thanks

    @aosucas499 good mornirg. Well I'm really happy for that. I think you can use the internal installer of eggs, it's CLI and have same revision to do but it work on staandard BIOS, yesterday I just used it with a remaster of SODILINUX an italian remix based on Linux Mint Ulyssa, I had the problem to not be able to install it with calamares so I just used CLI installer (sudo eggs install --cli). Times are passed from our meet now eggs come with simple manPage, just man eggs and others improvements (I extended your way to customize CDROM boot check addon/eggs/theme and so on. I just was thinking about the need to improve eggs installer for cases cannot be usable calamares, so you are back... just in the right time!
