Compare error reporting process on some news web site and open source project.
The former: select erroneous text, hit Ctrl+Enter, add an optional comment, hit Send.
The latter: find issue tracker, write a whole post citing the error and... wait, skim through existing issues finding wheter the problem has been reported, THEN file a new issue. Then realize that the error is not alone, there are multitude of those - and get through a whole decision making/project management process of whether to report each error by itself or as a single issue with all of the errors. Or if you know of pull requests - fork, branch, N * commit, PR.
