@Aaronontheweb , how is the readme. Is it OK?

I would make it more descriptive of what's differently exactly and include instructions on how to run the sample, even if it's stupid simple

@chipdice yeah, our Unit 3 app pounds the hell out of their API
if you send them a message or create a new OAuth key you should be able to resume using it :p

Quick question, what is the proper way to create a remote broadcast group in a cluster. The WebCrawler sample uses the RemoteJobActor which according to @Aaronontheweb is no longer necessary. Thanks... Not sure the proper code for asking for this, should I be using ActorSelection or ActorOf?

to create a clustered broadcast router, you can do this through HOCON!
you'd want to change that from consistent-hashing-group to broadcast-group
but otherwise, same idea
then you create the router here in C#
// from https://github.com/petabridge/akkadotnet-code-samples/blob/master/Cluster.WebCrawler/src/WebCrawler.Web/Global.asax.cs#L24, with edits
var router = ActorSystem.ActorOf(Props.Empty.WithRouter(FromConfig.Instance), "tasker");

Aargh it was Empty...
was trying to figure out how to request an actor without knowing its type

based on the provided HOCON configuration, that would allow you to route to any actors at the path "/user/api" on any node of role "tracker"
yeah sorry about that, I haven't updated the file yet
the type of the actor gets ignored when you're using a group router
because group routers don't deploy their routees

The intelligence for Empty basically left me feeling like... "these are not the droids you are looking for"
Intellisense

you're welcome
sorry I made that confusing :(

I'm sure it's not the reason for my real issue. Created a cluster and an asp.net app keeps getting downed as soon as it joins
Essentially same topology as webcrawler
Also technically shouldn't the CommandProcessor listen for Cluster Member events to know that the /user/api Router is up?
